I never watched the Dean Martin Roasts, my parents didn’t really approve of him.
As for variety shows, the by-far-and-away best was The Red Skelton Show and a close second in the time period was The Carol Burnett Show followed by The Andy Williams Show. Barbara Mandrell had a great show, too.

Good morning! Tim is off to the Renaisance Festival with a friend/neighbor. Last night we had dinner with two other couples we used to see a lot. They were very happy to hea the news about the adoption. Tim seems very happy to announce it to friends. @:)
I wanted to go to the local tavern for fish but we went to a chain Joe's Crab Shack. next we'll go for fish.
Jemian, I agree with all of your choices, but the Dean Martin Roasts were and still are hilarious!
