Good evening!
The Obamas apparently attended church this morning in DC.
Sounds like former President Clinton is trying to bolster 0, saying he's getting his momentum back as his party faces major defeats in November.
Some conservative, maybe it was DeMint, as he's doing his best to get the Rs to stay on track, said this election to be really successful, must do more that discredit 0. The whole Left's agenda and ideas should be held accountable.
b4, any comments on Jem’s #292 post? Thanks.
And being the least bit unashamed, I’d take it. Thank you.
When You're Holding a Hammer Everything Looks Like a Nail
Remember November!!
When do you get stuck?
Where's the tolerance or does that only apply when building a Mosque?
TRUE. TRUE.
Blah, blah blah, yakkity yak, uh, uh, uh, Bush's fault.
There, I saved you all from watching.
No thank you for the thread and thank you for the synopsis LOL
Um, you missed a ‘blah’ and a ‘yak’ but otherwise it was accurate...;-))
LOL
Somewhere I think I read that the Israeli delegation was not present for 0’s speech.
Yes. You are correct.
Good for them.
I’m checking in. My computer is not making me happy today. That is all.
I am so sorry to hear about your ‘puter problems.
The government regulations are forcing the financial sector to make up for fees that we were told we could not charge for in August of this year that we could charge for in the past. They spout off that they are helping the consumer as they did in financial reform and credit card reform. But in truth they are just forcing a change in who pays what.
Our financial institution alone, a relatively small one, lost $6,000 in fee income per month due (yes, $72,000 per year) to the Congress's financial reform bill that Obama signed and was implemented in August. We used to be able to charge a fee at an ATM or debit transaction when someone overdrew their account. Now, the only way to do that is if the customer gives us permission to charge them for that overdraw, which we have to keep on file even though they can give verbal permission too. How many people do you know that would agree to that?
So, we lose that revenue stream and the customer now gets angry because when they go to an ATM, or to the store, they can't get money or their transaction approved because they are at either a 0 balance or negative one already. And we had to raise fees 25% to try and recoup the lost revenue. So guess who pays?
Of course, the ultimate person who pays is the one paying the money. In my case however, I have decided not to ever accept a check from that bank as payment, unless I also charge a fee to the one giving me a check on that bank. I will make that clear to someone prior to doing business.
I don’t think these fees are illegal. I am just choosing not to do business with this particular bank.
Yes I’ve seen that about the transaction tax. A 1% tax on all transactions IIRC.
More heinousness from the government looters.
LOL!
Are you feeling better today?
Well after a worrisome 24 hours, the dog has been found! Someone picked him up by the Greyhound track and turned him in to the vet who red his chip. Thanks for your prayers!
