GOOD MORNING ONE AND ALL!
BREAKFAST IS ON ME
As its 54 degrees here, breakfast will be served in the great room, next to the fireplace, with a view out over the pond.

The view
May the morning find you smiling, and your heart lifting to Him.

Yes, this little quirk does mean we are packrats! I was married to a packrat so I turned into one after he passed away. I have so much to get rid of but never feel like doing it. I have too much to do on the computer that I don’t have time for such stuff....LOL!
Darling graphic!

No worry on the rush, we will hold your meal as long as you like, only the best of service here at the cyber cafe!
As for being away, I’ve been laid up since my fall, and the back is better now and I can finally get back on the computer.

Different Goals
September 17, 2010
In 1945, professional golfer Byron Nelson had an unimaginable season. Of the 30 tournaments he entered, he won an amazing 18 timesincluding 11 in a row. Had he chosen to, he could have continued his career and perhaps become the greatest of all time. But that was not his goal. His goal was to earn enough money playing golf to buy a ranch and spend his life doing what he really loved. So, instead of continuing on at the peak of his career, Nelson retired at age 34 to become a rancher. He had different goals.
The world may find that kind of thinking to be foolish. It doesnt really understand the heart that looks beyond trying to gain more wealth or fame to real satisfaction and contentment. This is especially true when it comes to our choice to live for Christ. But it is in the worlds perception of our alleged foolishness that we might best represent the Masters different goals to this world. Paul wrote, But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty (1 Cor. 1:27).
A commitment to living according to kingdom values might brand us as foolish in the eyes of the world, but it can bring honor to our God.
What Christ will say on judgment day
Will finally make lifes values clear;
Hell show that we were rich or poor
By what on earth we held most dear. D. De Haan
Core values are of no value unless they reflect Gods values.
Read: 1 Cor. 1:18-31
God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise.
1 Corinthians 1:27

Hi, Johnn. Didn't know about your fall, but, glad you are doing better, and BACK where you belong - (making sure we are all well fed in the morning!)
OK - for breakfast, I'll be a good girl, and have:
Cold cereaal with skim milk
one slice of whole wheat toast - dry
fresh fruit - small order
FORGET THAT!
I changed my mind!
I'll have the three egg omlette with mushrooms and white cheddar cheese
Crispy home fries with that,
Toasted Kaiser roll (NOT WHEAT) with REAL butter - and lots of it
A side of Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with a Tasty Glaze, and lots of syrup
Two slices of Hatfield Ham, browned in butter.
Thank you, Johnn. I shall love being wicked for one day, as I take in your delicious breakfast, and the lovely view.

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Your meal is on the table right by the fire, and the big window. The butter is real and the server knows to keep the cyber treats coming. Keep a little space for a special treat, Chocolate dipped Strawberries!
