carbon steel can be made extremely hard. I have a hard time believing this stuff is harder than that.

I had a driver golf club made out of this metal in the mid to late 90’s. It mostly sucked. They sell for nickels and dimes in garage sales now. Interesting metal, though.

here’s a link to their ball bearing bouncing demo.
It’s awesome in the amount of bounce time due to the dense structure of the material.
I want personal armor made from this stuff.. of course you’d be like the George Reeves Superman , with bullets bouncing off your chest..

Carbon carbon (carbon cooked at 2000 degrees under 2000 lbs for 6 to 8 months)is very hard material would be stronger.
