What my plan was when I created the ZOT
(and how I ended up) ^ | June 28, 2010 | Lord Dagon

Posted on 06/28/2010 12:43:57 PM PDT by DagonofAlbion

I deposit the Risk into the account of a dummy finance company for management, called the republican party.

Then, I deposit the damage into the account of a dummy corporation for control, called the democratic party.

I leave all the bible belt religions as spoilers, or third parties; putting them down as department store chains. To stave off the profit into the mints money burning facility, to insure that the money is worthless in terms of pragmatic value, and is only practical believed values.

And the Black market is pimped as bad but, even losing even your kindeys in a hotel bathtub on a drunk, is a value laundering scheme...

Thank you all for your input and participation!!!

She said the locals dumped sewage in the water at the port on Borneo. And the water at the Navy pier in Singapore probably isn’t the best place to swim ;-).

On the other hand, there is the “Terror Club.” A quick Google search shows that it has a very nice pool and a highly regarded 4th of July fireworks display.

I was thinking of the beaches in Malaysia. I could see 30-40 feet down there.

I’ll bet there are some exquisite beaches among the 1,000+ islands of Malaysia ... but they’re not where our Coast Guard is docking. Maybe she’ll get some free time in Guam or Wake.

I hope she does get some time for this. She would certainly enjoy it.

Well, she doesn’t dive or ski or sail or snorkel, but she could go swimming for a while (until she sunburns) and then sit in the shade and draw the WW2 wrecks. She’s very good with ships and planes.

Seaman Anoreth, in a towering Bad Mood about sports and the poor education of her shipmates.

***

We watched "1776." Seaman Cousins knew what it was immediately. Everyone else whined, but when I told them (rather more rudely than I put it here) that they could either shut up and go away or shut up and watch the movie, most of them watched it. They all seemed to think that John Adams and Alexander Hamilton were the same person. I was offended by this. Cousins thought it was hilarious. He would. John Adams and that creep Hamilton are absolutely not related in any way. I started yelling at people after the third person got them mixed up. They quit mentioning it.

Then I was GOING to watch "Lawrence of Arabia," only some idiot came in and insisted on watching stupid soccer instead, again. Venezuela VS another unimportant tiny socialist country that nobody cares about. I hate soccer. I hate sports. This has put me in a bad mood, which is unfortunate, because I was feeling less violent toward the rest of the world after getting to watch 1776 with only one mention of the [expletive] soccer game. Which Cousins and myself immediately shouted down. Plus, contemplating John Adams and Ben Franklin generally puts me in a decent frame of mind.

I will be extremely glad when the Freeping World Cup is over. Of course, then idiotic football will start again, and I'll be forced to hear about that for months on end. Now I'm going to stay up all night reading Shakespeare and snarling at anyone who tries to talk to me. Soccer. Pshaw.

****

She wasn't quite this cranky at home, due to the family's disinterest in televised sports. We would all rather read Shakespeare and argue about Jefferson vs. Adams, and I'm the only one who really likes Alexander Hamilton.

I don’t really understand why she went into military service. I could picture her at a conservative private college somewhere.

I could picture her at a conservative private college somewhere.

So can I ... and so can she, but not yet.

1. She wanted excitement and Something Totally Different, after 18 years at home.
2. She wanted to serve our country.
3. We can only afford state college, living at home.
4. She didn't have the SAT scores to get a scholarship to, say, University of Dallas or Steubenville.

However, after 4 or 6 years in the CG, she'll have at least a couple of years of college done, if not a B.A., and have a good idea of what she wants to do for graduate school. Law and economics seem to be the top ideas right now, with an eye toward law enforcement or intelligence work. And she'll have lots of money in the bank as well as her military college fund.

You don’t care for soccer, either?

She’s a combative girl, and I think she’s having a lot of fun with the whole crew to antagonize. Used to be it was just me and her dad ;-).

But John Adams and Alexander Hamiilton ARE the same person. It's Shakespeare who's a different person.

Although with the same name.

(Grinning and ducking.)
