What my plan was when I created the ZOT
(and how I ended up) ^ | June 28, 2010 | Lord Dagon

Posted on 06/28/2010 12:43:57 PM PDT by DagonofAlbion

I deposit the Risk into the account of a dummy finance company for management, called the republican party.

Then, I deposit the damage into the account of a dummy corporation for control, called the democratic party.

I leave all the bible belt religions as spoilers, or third parties; putting them down as department store chains. To stave off the profit into the mints money burning facility, to insure that the money is worthless in terms of pragmatic value, and is only practical believed values.

And the Black market is pimped as bad but, even losing even your kindeys in a hotel bathtub on a drunk, is a value laundering scheme...

Thank you all for your input and participation!!!

Somehow, that’s exactly how I feel today.

We’re looking for 107 again today, with moisture coming in during the afternoon, and staying for about a week.

Maybe I need to get busy and try to clean up a little around here. Not having the truck is depressing me more than I realized. :o|

(At least with a truck, I could go search out alcoholic beverage bargains!)

We’re stuck at home while the guys fix the back door. DP is cutting the byos’ hair. I told him I’d hate him forever if he touches Frank!

Thanks! The mad hair-shaver was deterred by threats, for now. Admittedly, I may turn into one, myself, if Frank piles sand on his head at the beach! Iirc, that’s what happened to Pat’s similar curls: when we couldn’t get the sand out, the hair had to come off.

Ouch!
When are you leaving for the beach/cabin/resort/spa/cottage/lodge?

Sept. 4, “beach house.” Anoreth will arrive at the airport 7-ish in the morning, and we’ll leave home (hopefully) before noon. It’s about 3-1/2 hours to the location, I think.

It sounds like fun, having the family all together again!

I can’t even seem to think beyond getting the truck fixed. *sigh*

I sympathize! I went at least two weeks without transport after I had the accident last fall. Of course, other people were driving.

I’ve been borrowing a neighbor’s car, but I really hate to do that. She’s been so sweet, and I feel the need to put gas in it every time I use it.

But it’s a sedan, and therefore, hard for me to get into and out of because it is so low. So I try to only use it twice a week.

*sigh*

It’s been three weeks, now. :o([

That long! Do you expect another part any time soon?

The carpentry gents are still working on the back door. Flies are coming in and flocking around Ash!

It’s hard to tell when a person is not yet 15 months old, but he seems bright to me!

He has a very alert look. I think it’s possible to tell very soon after birth, actually.

Maybe I don’t know the difference because all my Offspring are so brilliant ;-).

The photos I posted upthread were taken at “Discovery Place,” a local science facility. (The one on my page is in our dining room.) Frank had a discovery of walking up and down a slope, climbing up and down stairs, and clambering over obstacles. I could see his brain working! Fortunately, he’s noticed that there’s a difference between the staircase at our house and the two little steps he was climbing there. He looks down and yodels, but he knows better than to step off!

Absolutely. :) Great photos, and I agree; it is possible to observe a child in that kind of situation and recognize intelligence. What a great place to take your family, too.

It’s “the place to be” when it’s too hot to do anything outside with kids! They just completed a major rehab, so it was almost like new for the older children. Frank was very focussed on “walk up the ramp, walk down the ramp.”

He needs work on his social skills, though. I had to stop him from pushing smaller children out of his way. At home, he’s the smallest, and he’s certainly not going to hurt Vlad or James by giving a shove!

Yes - I didn’t expect him to know how to interact nicely with other children, so I just grabbed him any time he decided someone else was in his way. When he’s going to do something he shouldn’t, he gives his warning call, “Whoodeloo, whoodeloooo!” which he learned from the cat.
