I deposit the Risk into the account of a dummy finance company for management, called the republican party.
Then, I deposit the damage into the account of a dummy corporation for control, called the democratic party.
I leave all the bible belt religions as spoilers, or third parties; putting them down as department store chains. To stave off the profit into the mints money burning facility, to insure that the money is worthless in terms of pragmatic value, and is only practical believed values.
And the Black market is pimped as bad but, even losing even your kindeys in a hotel bathtub on a drunk, is a value laundering scheme...
Thank you all for your input and participation!!!
Not to worry. This is something *I* have to do anyway, though I’m not in much better shape. But now it’s lunchtime and I’m trying to figure out what’s safe to east; stomach got really twitchy this morning.
My stomach has been that way for several days. If I can’t think of anything better to eat, I’ll have some garlic bread and chicken soup. My mantra is that “soup is for sick people,” but every so often, I find myself wanting soup. Too bad I can’t find Bean With Bacon and Split Pea soup here. Those are some GOOD soups.
*sigh*
I’m gonna find a soft place to sit. Later.
Now it's back to work.
I hope your UPS arrived! Frank needed another dose of Motrin after his nap. I wish I knew what was wrong with him.

Hawaii is nice. It's like Singapore, a bit, but not as hot and the people speak English. Also you can hail a cab. I wandered around for a while yesterday looking for an ATM. I almost got Bill a ukulele, but he might die of embarrassment. I may do that anyway, come to think of it. Also I got my tattoo. It has kind of a Dawn Treader look, but I like it. The guy did a good job. It has yellow lightning. It didn't hurt much ... not as much as getting smallpox, and a lot less than doing ten weeks of boot camp with a broken foot. Today it feels like sunburn. I have to wash it all the time and put antibacterial stuff on.
It turns out I have almost 9 grand in the bank, so I got my new computer. I ordered it from Best Buy, so it should turn up in Seattle before I get there and I can pick it up when we pull in. I put your phone number down when they asked for it, so if Best Buy calls you about a computer, that's why. I obviously have no way to receive calls when out at sea. I'll put Linux on my old one for an experiment.
I did okay in algebra. I'm thinking of maybe going to school overseas. Ireland looks interesting, or Scotland maybe. Somewhere historic where they still speak English pretty well. I'll have plenty of money, what with my GI Bill and what Grandmama saved up for me and what I've got saved up. I can get a degree in Celtic Mythology or whatever, since you have to have a degree already before you can go to law school. Or maybe I'll try to do archaeology. They have a type that's underwater as well as on land. It would be fun. Spain would be better, but as far as I can tell all their really cool, old schools only take Spanish nationals. Too bad. I'll go visit instead.
We want pictures.
They want pictures!
(Can’t speak for “they” but I’m willing to wait for the redness to fade so we get an accurate take on the color rendering)
Well, yes. We don’t want to see it until it’s looking its best.
UPS did come, but only to pick up the part for return. Oddly enough, when it was shipped to me, it weighed one pound. However, when the parts company send me the return label the package weighed three pounds. Hmmmmm...
So, for now, it’s “hurry up and wait.”
Some days, life just bites.
That’s odd...mine didn’t get all red. I just kept it moist with Vaseline, and it’s still fairly bright. And I still like it. :o]
Pictures. We want pictures...
Maybe the new part will work.
DP forgot to get pita bread, so we’re waiting on supper. Frank hasn’t thrown up yet. Before I give him his next dose of Tylenol, I’ll put his shoes on so he can go outside immediately.
Heh-heh...no pictures...it would reveal too much of me. ;oþ
I’m hoping the mechanic gets off crutches soon enough so he can come and analyze the thing. Of course, the new part won’t leave until the old part gets there, so I’m still laid up.
*sigh*
*sigh*
My weather-beeber says 102. Handyman came by and looked at the back door; he said he can fix it a week from Saturday.
It’s 103 here, but the breeze has died, so I’m not going out to sit in the shade.
Besides: All that does is draw the neighbors and their cigarettes.
Check out what internet searching can tell you about "Doggerland".
Nearly twice the land area of Great Britain and Ireland was, only a few thousand years ago, dry land that connected to Europe. This was at the height of the most recent Ice Age, when ocean levels were about sixty meters lower.
I mention this because there are underwater artifacts "out there", on land that has been flooded for thousands of years.
Metal artifacts would obviously not survive, but civilization at that time was marked by bone artifacts, campfires, potshards, post-holes and other items.
A very interesting line of study might include finding ways to optically or acoustically track the sea floor for remnants of lost civilizations.
Some areas are shallow enough for regular diving, but some may be so deep that special subs might be required. In any case, the "seeing" will be the key to discoveries in very murky and dark water. I can guide your search by suggesting designs for equipment that can make this possible.
