Joyful tears!
That almost said everything. It got to me big time. Meg, I just couldn't be happier just hearing the happiness in your remarks. You made it through with God's help and God's helpers surrounding you!
They were so lucky having you in their presence and I am positive they are as happy with you as you were with them. It sounds like a wonderful family and a beautiful wedding. I did love the dog's part in the wedding. (They do such different things for weddings today than long ago.) For instance, when my granddaughter married 2 1/2 years ago, the groom's mother sang the sweetest song for them That to me, was unbelievable.
Anyway, you will have more to tell us and we will get to see some pictures. God Bless You, Meg, and May God Bless the Bride and Groom.
Yorkie, do you guess its too late as I already have the problems you mentioned!! I think a lot of us on here do...LOL! Seriously, is Coconut Oil good for you? If I ever stretched as far as that gal, I would be in the hospital for 2 weeks, or at least bedrest...
I will do a little research on that or maybe we could pick your brain for the information!!
That’s adorable!
By the way, I took a nap, so I am not finished with my work. Made a lot of progress by throwing a lot of stuff away! I think I must water now before I finish! Gosh, there’s so much to do.
When I looked at it just a little while ago, it wasn’t working! Glad you liked it, Luv! I didn’t get to play your music yesterday but thank you for sending it anyway. I may listen to it yet!
Isn’t that the cutest little girl? My granddaughters had little high heel shoes. Its a wonder these young kids don’t break their ankles. They are hard to walk in when you are 20! But of course, we wouldn’t have let anyone know that.
(((jaycee)))I have to tell you the story that pops in my mind ..
I have been telling everyone since the really bad pain returned that God was going to get me there and help me through.
“A state trooper in a Jeep knocks on a man’s door and tells him to evacuate due to a pending flood; the man says “God will save me.” A few hours later the water is running through the man’s first floor, and the coast guard pulls up to his second story window in a boat, but he sends them away, saying “God will save me.” A little later, the man is on his roof, with floodwaters ravaging his house. A helicopter flies over and dangles a ladder, but the man waves it off. The man is swept away and drowns, and when he gets to heaven, he angrily confronts God with “why didn’t you do anything to save me.” God says “I didn’t do anything ? I sent a jeep, a boat and a helicopter.”
I said thank you, thank you to the helpers God sent....
What a lovely thing for the groom’s mother to do!
Yes...traditions change...but the ceremony and 1st Corinthians 13, the music kept the rest traditional.
I saw your lovely note at Caring Bridge...Brook’s family is so grateful for all prayers. Glenn’s mother and Glenn told me so. Kami could not be there..she has a very ill grandmother on top of everything else.
I was in a state of tear up over seeing everyone..on top of the wedding, the beauty, my immediate family..and my grandson ,the groom, who was walking on air..So dear to see his joy!
Awwww darling boy...I will never forget his first calling me grandmother in his high chair. Grandmother stuck..and I am that to all my grandsons. No cute diminuatives for me..Grandmother..how I love to hear the word said to me!
Loved the little story of God sending help! I can feel the happiness you are feeling. I know you loved it and are thankful to have been there and also sorta thankful that its behind you. You can relax and enjoy whatever you can. I watched my little hummingbirds today. And I need birdseed...always!!
I had a friend in church, (she hardly comes anymore) but she had a really bad back. Her doctor recommended some type of pads at the drug store that fit around the area of pain and I think they are warm and think they have velcro on them. You could not tell she had them on and she was a tiny thing. She was an oriental girl, I forget exactly where she was from. I remember when her mother died and she couldn’t go. That was sad.
It is very surprising how many people live in pain with their backs.
Thank you for sharing,
And for the up-coming photos!
*HUGS*
