I bet it looked like Weinie when he was little.
Ahh, I love it! Thank you pam. Haven’t ever tried that with my little Piper!
Well so much for the comfort, friendship, relaxing, and fun times at Amy’s Place.
Don’t try to be subtle tiapam - it probably won`t work. :)

The original Dan Akroyd version has been removed from You Tube due to copyright concerns, but this one was funny too!
:-)
I just LOVE that BASS!
In my opinion, your posts of the Fallen does instantly change the mood of this thread in paticular. It doesn’t mean that I don’t care, because I definitely do, but I don’t feel it’s appropriate to bring a funeral into a party, if you catch my drift. Perhaps there could be another way to do this? I am speaking for myself, alone. Perhaps I should refrain from posting here again? It’s not my call, just my opinion!
Actually, Schnitzel is the Grand Dame of Rainbow Bridge...just sits back and lets Weinie do all the dirty work!
Weinie was very sweet...Schnitzel was bossy and had a Miss Piggy attitude.
Weinie was a recue. Schnitzel's real mother belonged to my college roomate and she had to have a litter of 4 girls or I wasn't getting a puppy...and I didn't want one! Schatze had 4 girl puppies--which is rare-- and my life was never the same! I went to the dogs!
Oh, Conor - my heart is hurting - for your dedication to honoring our Fallen Heroes - and all they mean to all of us. I truly believe that we all, here on Amy’s have a soft spot in our hearts for these Troops.
I cannot speak for anyone but myself. I just LOVE Amy’s Place - I get such a kick out each and every post - and the smiles they bring into my life.
To see our Fallen Heroes faces, and to read about them when we are all (I think) trying to just grab a hold of some lightness for just awhile, makes me sad. Then, I don’t feel like posting the silly cross-eyed dog that I had ready to post. Am I making sense here?
I have grown to just have such a sweet respect for you, and all you do, in honoring those who gave their “ALL”. I hope you understand where I am coming from.
I WANT to pray for them, and for their loved ones who are left behind. I think you know that. But, there is so much pain in seeing their faces and knowing they are no longer with us, that it changes the atmosphere, here on Amy’s Place - at least for me.
Please, please, do not think I don’t care. Because I do. But, dear Conor - I need to be able to be silly and laugh and giggle and smile once in awhile.
I hope to be able to continue praying for our heroes, and will always thank you for your continuous dedication. HUGS, yorkie
I didn’t know you had two! They are darling little dogs! Someday I think you will have another one to love. My friend had a miniature one and his name was Murphy! (I may have told you that.)
I was glad to learn who the Grand Dame of Rainbow Bridge was, by the way! LOL~~~
I bet your dogs were spoiled rotten....??
Thank you Conor, there is the Canteen thread which is much more appropriate for honoring the fallen troops. If you wish, you could ping your friends on Amy’s because they obviously care for the troops and YOU.
Tiapammie, don't you DARE stop posting here! You have the best sense of humor, and find the best graphics, and knowing you - you have a true caring heart for everybody here as we all (I am sure) do for you!
You always make me SMILE!
A friend gave me T-shirts...Schnitzel's said, "Spoiled Rotten"....mine said, "Rotten's Spoiler."
What a good friend you had! And very unique in her thinking!!
.....thanks Tia... and if I wasn’t before watching those kitties, I would be now! lol
Another very good friend told me, “I read you can tell a dog’s IQ by the way they manipulate their owner...Schnitzel is a genius!”
Hello Deadhead!!!
What a precious “puppy”!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing the great photo.

LOL! We all spoil our dogs rotten. We used to think “ours knew what we were thinking.” My husband and I both spoiled our dogs because we loved them so much. They gave us more that we gave them, I think! Such grieving when they left us, so thats why I don’t have a pet now.
