Oh, Conor - my heart is hurting - for your dedication to honoring our Fallen Heroes - and all they mean to all of us. I truly believe that we all, here on Amy’s have a soft spot in our hearts for these Troops.
I cannot speak for anyone but myself. I just LOVE Amy’s Place - I get such a kick out each and every post - and the smiles they bring into my life.
To see our Fallen Heroes faces, and to read about them when we are all (I think) trying to just grab a hold of some lightness for just awhile, makes me sad. Then, I don’t feel like posting the silly cross-eyed dog that I had ready to post. Am I making sense here?
I have grown to just have such a sweet respect for you, and all you do, in honoring those who gave their “ALL”. I hope you understand where I am coming from.
I WANT to pray for them, and for their loved ones who are left behind. I think you know that. But, there is so much pain in seeing their faces and knowing they are no longer with us, that it changes the atmosphere, here on Amy’s Place - at least for me.
Please, please, do not think I don’t care. Because I do. But, dear Conor - I need to be able to be silly and laugh and giggle and smile once in awhile.
I hope to be able to continue praying for our heroes, and will always thank you for your continuous dedication. HUGS, yorkie
Thank you Conor, there is the Canteen thread which is much more appropriate for honoring the fallen troops. If you wish, you could ping your friends on Amy’s because they obviously care for the troops and YOU.
