Great picture pam. I’ve never been out to the beach in California. I know the water’s cold!
Y’all are making me want to go to the beach SOON, lol.
Thanks yorkie.
I am SO ready, Potlatch! When do we leave?
Wow, thanks. I’m going to save that picture for her. The eyes are amazing to see.
Before too long! Takes awhile to pack up all that ‘beach stuff’, lol.
They are WONDERFUL dogs. I don’t dare go to the Humane Society Shelter - because I will bring home toooooo many.
The last time I was there, it was to bring towels, blankets and toys to the Shelter. All the dogs were barking their heads off - and jumping up and down, being sweetly obnoxious and wanting so badly to be adopted..........
Then I looked at the ONE dog that was just sitting there - it was an Aussie...........and he was looking at me straight in the eye. He had one blue eye - one brown eye. His tail was slowly wagging, and he didn’t make a sound or move. It was like he “KNEW” he would have a good home with me. He never took his eyes off me.
My eyes filled up, and as I walked away, I let it all out. I have not been back to the Shelter since. I wish I could have taken that beautiful dog home.
I understand that. They put dogs and cats pictures in our newspaper all the time and it breaks my heart to look at them. I wish I could have many - but I just can’t.
Dear Meg, your Father's Day Post on Sunday was So Beautiful, and All your Response Posts, too. Thank you!
Dear Amy, Thank you and All Sweet FRiends for the Wonderful Pings and Posts.
(((((Hugs to Everyone, and God Bless)))))
Glad you liked it! Yes, the water is usually cold. That’s why alot of people from Calif. go to Hawaii for vacation!
Oh, Lori, I am so sorry. You and your hubby were there for her (and so was Chachi and Sissy!) Please know that you have my sincere condolences, and please know, that I believe that she is no longer in pain, and resting in the Everlasting Arms. God Bless you both!
I make it a point to post some how, some way.
I will keep trying until it happens.
The buttercups in our backyard were unusually bright and beautiful due to the generous amount of spring rain God sent our way. I wanted to take some pictures of them before they faded, but I had trouble getting close enough because they were growing in a very soggy wetland. One sunny afternoon, I pulled on a pair of boots and trudged through briers and brambles toward buttercup bog. Before I got any pictures, I got muddy feet, multiple scratches, and numerous bug bites. But seeing the buttercups made my temporary discomfort worthwhile.
Much of life is about getting through the trials and troubles that are inevitable in our sinful world. One of these trials is persecution. The disciples certainly found this to be true. They knew the good things that Jesus has ready for those who follow Him, but they met harsh resistance when they tried to tell others (Acts 14:5).
Those of us who have chosen Gods way, and who know from experience that its a more excellent way (1 Cor. 12:31), will persevere even when we have to go through danger and difficulty. By doing so, we show others a beautiful picture of Gods peace, mercy, and forgiveness. The joy that awaits will make our temporary discomfort worthwhile.
As well as can be expected having PT twice a week for my legs and feet.
Had a nice 1 day visit from my son, dil, and grandson, they came in Monday afternoon, left Tuesday afternoon.
Have to go to the dentist though, my crown fell off (third time) eating supper last night thankfully I didn’t swallow it, and my dentist is away on Army Reserve training this week.
Good one, Bob!
