I have lost THREE real life friends now in trying to defend Sarah Palin. On one hand I tend to think the people who call her stupid are not the kind of people I even want as friends anyhow. However, I wonder if im being too harsh and going too far.
I know our country was divided on President Bush. But the division and the hatred for Sarah Palin has been able to top anything. Before Palin, I had a much more positive outlook on people (especially women, mothers, ect) and life in general. Now I find myself seeing people through a totally different lens.
I understand why I am so outraged as a husband and father of two girls. But what is wrong with WOMEN in this country ? they have really let Sarah Palin and her family down by not standing up enough and drawing a line in the sand.
It is June 2010. Who the F. ever heard of Barack Hussein Obama in June 2006?
Get back to me with that question in January of 2012.
I can tell you this right now: Who I will NOT support in the primaries, because she is a guaranteed Obama victory in the 2012 general election, is Sarah Palin.
At this point all you can do is recite the same catatonic mantra over and over again, which does not a dialogue make. Done with you.
The only "mantra" here, deny, is your blind and mindless worship of Sarah Palin.

Just because a Marxist wannabe politician does not believe in the U.S. Constitution does not make the Fifth Grader qualified to be a serious candidate for President of the United States.
It is truly pathetic that American politics has degraded to the point of, "Our unqualified Affirmative Action candidate is not as bad as your unqualified Affirmative Action candidate."
I will make my case perfectly clear:
1. I believe that BOTH Barack Obama and Sarah Palin are Affirmative Action candidates.
2. NEITHER Barack Obama or Sarah Palin are qualified to be competent Presidents of the United States.
3. I believe that, in 2008, any white, male candidate for the Presidency or Vice Presidency of the United States with the experience and qualifications that Barack Obama or Sarah Palin had would have been laughed out of the race in his first week.

I know that this whole situation that we find ourselves in isn't very comfortable. To be completely honest, I think that (far too) many of us have just been "too busy" over the past decades with our own lives (working, family, enjoyment, etc.) to really pay any attention to what was going on around us. Believe me, I'd like nothing better at this point to be able to be "free" to just focus on trying to keep my business alive in this dismal economy. And I'm sure that you never considered that you would enter into retirement as the world was gathering steam heading down the shitter! While we've been asleep at the switch, the plans to destroy our country have been unfolding all around us. (Yes, I said "destroy" and it is not an over-statement at this point in time, unfortunately. I'm not sure how much you have been expanding your "news" horizons lately, but I know that a few months ago you really didn't seem to be much interested in looking at things from alternative sources of news and information, maybe you have changed your point of view on that of late.) From what I can see, most of what we see closing in on us now was started in this country under Woodrow Wilson (the first "Progressive" movement in the US). The history is (still) there for us to read and learn from if we are willing to seek it out and spend the time to understand.
A fairly realistic assessment is that it is indeed too late for us, that is, we will never see the US or the rest of the world as it was in our childhood and earlier adulthood. We've reached the tipping point unfortunately. BUT, if we are to consider ourselves to be American Patriots of any degree, we must all begin to educate ourselves and learn how to act and fight. We are duty bound to this for the sake of our children and their children. It is a pretty good bet that it will be the young people of our country, those now in their 20s and 30s, that will be the leaders that will fight a long battle to restore our Country and the Freedom & Liberty on which it was founded. But we need to be willing to help them out as much as we can. We need to rally quickly to fight to preserve what little we have left of our Freedom and Liberty; we need to try to stop a bad situation from getting any worse, to the best of our abilities.
You need to look at Adult_Child_1, A_C_2, and A_C_3 -- how much more debt are you willing to saddle them with (ALL government DEBT is the debt of the US taxpayer)? How many more levels of tyranny do you wish to shackle them with? (We are already living under a "soft tyranny" and the harder tyranny is coming upon us very soon.) How long are you willing to sit back and let the last vestiges of any hope that they and their children will be able to participate in the "American Dream" just pass into the ether (the chance at the American Dream that your grandparents and parents were able to pass along to you)?
Believe me, this is a tough nut to swallow. It really requires us to move out of our "comfort zone" in a lot of ways. One of the difficulties is that a lot of it is just so hard to accept as Americans; we weren't brought up to believe that this could ever happen to us, not in America. Our relative wealth and comfort have served to lull us into a national complacency. Inertia is a strong force to counter, believe me, I know. I really only started to "look a bit closer at some things" and start my re-education process in March of this year. Here is a quick summary of my journey.
Over the years I become more or less disinterested in politics. From the surface I really didn't see a big difference between Repubs and Demos. I understood what a Conservative was and what a Liberal was. It seemed the older I got, the more that the Conservative message made more and more sense to me, and that the Liberal message made less and less sense. But again, for the most part I remained pretty apathetic and rarely voted. On NJ and local issues I really didn't think much about any of the pols, and for the Presidential and Congressional elections I didn't feel real motivated since NJ is such a Blue State, I never figured there would ever be enough votes to elect a Repub/Conservative Senator or Congresscritter, and that NJ Electoral College votes would always go to the Demo candidate for President.
Leading up to the November 2008 Presidential election I was still pretty much apathetic. McCain really didn't inspire me all that much and from the little that I had read about obama, I knew he was poison. Of course, using my "I live in NJ, my vote won't matter" excuse, I didn't vote for either. I knew enough about obama to know that the results were not good, however I didn't fully comprehend exactly how bad they were. I knew that some of this stuff was out there at the time, but didn't bother to really understand the amount of facts and hard evidence that was out there about this candidate. Again, take the time to read the article. If you aren't really familiar with the Cloward-Piven Strategy, the complete role of ACORN, George Soros and SEIU, how the CRA of 1977 (Carter) planted the seeds for the finanancial collapse of 2008, and Saul Alinsky, I will say 3 things:
1. You aren't alone, most people in this country still don't know much about any of it.
2. After you read this article you will get an initial taste of what this is all about.
3. Since this article was published, there are now reams and reams of facts and information about all of this, and much much more. It is there for us to seek out and understand, but it won't be served up to us via the newspapers, periodicals like Time or Newsweek, nor on any of the CBS/ABC/NBC or CNN/MSNBC channels. Fox news does touch on some of this at times, but they are still very far from being a reliable and complete source of the real news and information that is affecting us all on a daily basis.
So after the election, I just completely TUNED OUT of all things political. All that I would watch or listen was SPORTS. Sports programming and sports talk radio became my drug of choice. Since I still didn't come close to grasping what has been going on in the country and the rest of the world for decades, and didn't really understand how completely wrong for America and all things "American" that an obama regime would be, I just figured, "Oh well, we'll survive, just wait it out until the next Presidential election... How bad can it be?"
Now I recall you telling me that you had voted for him and said something about being "so proud of our country, that we finally elected a Black man..." sometime later. I have to apologize to you for not being honest with you in my reaction. I know that I didn't say anything at the time, but I have to tell you now that I was quite stunned by that. I don't know if you still share the same sentiments in both voting for that candidate or about "finally electing a Black man" in general. But I have to say that being happy about electing a Black man makes as much sense as saying that you were happy to elect someone that was left-handed, liked basketball, or was married to a woman named Michelle. The color of his skin should never have any bearing about casting a vote for any candidate, never, period, full stop. The person's background, experience, character and philosophy are a few of the more relevant points of consideration as far as I am concerned. Bottom-line, I would never vote for someone based on their skin color, but there happen to be a few Conservative Black men that I would be thrilled to support and vote for. And so it went... One fateful evening in early March I was out in the shop and none of the usual channels had any Sports/Games on that I was interested in, all local college B-ball. So rather than switch on the XM radio and hunt around, I just tuned over to WABC 770 AM to listen to the Mark Levin Show. I had listened to Mark's show on and off for years and always had a great deal of respect for him. (Briefly he is one of the most brilliant Constitutional scholars alive today, and he is a highly intelligent Conservative. I also relate well to his form of caustic and sarcastic humor, and his often strident tone doesn't bother me in the least.)
Well, listening to Mark peel the covers off of the monstrosity of evil that is called "healthcare reform" opened my eyes, REAL WIDE! It was sort of an epiphany moment for me, I started to get myself educated and started to get involved. And believe me, these past few months have been startling, frightening, and maddening. The level of evil that has been going on for decades (yes, back to Wilson is a good place to see the genesis of a lot of it) and is coming to a head since Nov 2008 is mind boggling.
The way I look at it is like this. Sure, there were a lot of people that just didn't know any better (and a lot of them also operated under some level of "white guilt" whether they were consciously aware of it or not) and voted for the demo because it was the "easiest" choice for them to make (in their highly ignorant state). But now, after all that has gone on since Nov 2008, there is no longer any excuse. Sure, there are probably a small percentage of people that are out and out fully declared marxist socialists (or whatever other label one might use, to me "Statist" is a very accurate one, look it up if you don't know what it means), but maybe they represent 10% of the general public, if that much. If you take it as a given that about 50% of the country backed obama, then the other 40% have some reckoning to do. To me it is quite simple, if that 40% still doesn't see anything wrong, then they are either:
1. TOO LAZY to get off their ass and spend some of their "valuable time" educating themselves and their family members about exactly WTF is going on!
2. TOO DAMN STUPID to know any better (and they will fully deserve the fate they get).
3. A sad combination of 1 and 2 above.
The time to act is NOW, there are NO MORE EXCUSES.
I have a LOT more sources of information that I can share with you, and am perfectly willing to sit down and spend time with you discussing it if you are interested. But first, I need to know from you whether or not you've opened your mind to this at all. I hope, for all of our sakes, that you have! (Oh, and you need to drop that "I never listen to AM radio" crap. If you hope to begin to be exposed to the truth at all. It isn't easy to listen to all the shows everyday, I certainly can't. But unless you are willing to make the effort to tune them in as much as you can, you will certainly hinder your ability to understand what is happening in the world around you.)

So I am awaiting his response. If he still wants to sit there with his head in a bucket of sand, he won't be doing it in my company any longer. As hard as it may be to purge long-time friends and family members from our lives, I feel that we must do it. I consider anyone that refuses to embrace the truth, an enemy of our Country at this point in time. And I refuse to break bread with an enemy.

Don't be afraid to be a little offensive i.e. "I still can't understand why you support Obama. Why do you want your children to be poor? What do you think is going to happen with a $13 trillion debt? It was never that under Bush and the Republicans. Did you see where they are gong to extend unemployment bennies again? Do you understand that "cap & trade" is going to greatly increase the cost of energy and the prohibition to drill offshore and in Alaska means we are going to continue to funnel money to the Arabs? Why doesn't that bother you?
Anyway, I suspect you are still their friend in that if they need you you will come through for them and that might even be true vice-versa. If not, well, pray for them but count your blessings that you learned this before you needed them.
You need to include the fact if she votes for pro-abortion politicians/referendums.
Voting is an action, and if she votes to continue the practice, your little anecdotal “example” is meaningless.
The flip side is a woman who had gone through an abortion but later regretted and worked to end the practice, which includes voting for pro-life positions.
What does God say about promoting evil ideologies but doing works in which the individual (Or others around) deem as godly? Regurgitation, since they continue to promote evil.
Also, debating outside of “academia” is vital because it causes other people to actually think. Go along to get along while admiring the Satanic intentions is a cowards way of life. Challenge everyone who makes themselves known first to a certain position. Don't push initially, but constantly question and constructively criticize all that is around us.
The “nobility” you promote of subservient unobtrusiveness while letting the barbarians run over you is a sad way to go through life. Yes, the cult of personality is to be shunned, but one should never be silent and afraid to offend.

Obviously you disagree, but since the world is full of boorish people I'm not surprised.

I am sure that post gained you no converts to your mission. But it did lead to very entertaining comments as did this one.
My problem is not with the people who are upset about Fiorina and John McCain. Sarah stepped in a pile of it there.
My problem is with the people who use MSM arguments against her, say she is stupid or unelectable.
I am of the believe that if you want to win, you have to destroy the other side. Democrats do that. We need to learn their lesson. Alinsky methods are winning methods.
If Palin decides to run. She is going to be the patriotic military mom. She will go on the attack. Any Republican man who runs against her in the primary is going to look ignorant and pathetic standing on the same stage with her. (Think Hillary and Rick Lazio). She will wrap herself in the flag. She is going to make it seem like any Democrat who is running against her will have to run against America.
Anyone who buys the MSM arguments against her are certainly not on our side.
I prefer to keep an open mind till I see who actually announces they will run and what they say they will do in critical interviews and then look at the polls and if they seem to be telling us the truth(unlike Obama and McCain)
But if you are so sure she is the (best) one to take on Obama in a presidential election by using Alinsky type attacks against him ; it seems then that she is the first one you must convince. This puts a huge weight on her shoulders, she MUST run to save us from Obama regardless of her family concerns. Is that what you are saying?
I think she really wants to run. She is just waiting for the right time.
