Wow !
(Excerpt) Read more at google.com ...
Could it have been any smaller and almost unreadable?
Screw them.
I didn’t see nozzing!
Since when did they start believing in the concept of "country". And "ours" ? Who's we ?
Strangely it comes and goes. You may have to reload a few times.
Usually they don’t do anything, so I’m pleasantly surprised.
I didn’t see that a while ago.
What, no special flag logo?? No special logo at all?? Isn’t that what they usually do?
Zilch dude. Put down the beer bong, you’re seeing things..
It fades in when the other links (shopping, maps, etc.) fade in, a few seconds after loading. I think Google does this only when the user is coming from a US based IP address.
Well I refreshed 8 times just now and saw nothing.
But look at what Google does celebrate
I zee nutzing! Plain old logo. Plain old page.
Those who do not see it: have you blocked Javascript in your browser (as with noscript or yesscript in Firefox) for .google.com?
same here..same ole liberal “I will record your Ip address everytime you search and pass it on to advertisers” Google..
Bing.com has a background of a river canyon (Utah?).
The Dogpile.com dog is having a barbeque. No flag.
Yahoo.com has a little boy running an American flag up a flagpole and saluting it.
MO here and NOthing. Even opened a separate tab just for them...(aren’t they special).
NOTE: As an alternative to Google.commie:
Try scrooglescrapper.org for searches. They ‘poke’ at google all the time. It’s funny and actually a pretty good search engine. FYI
Nothing here in Central Time.
Looking at the page source, the image and text appears when triggered by the event, "onmousemove
". So, presuming JavaScript is enabled, a mouse gesture is required for it to be visible.
I disagree, normally whatever the flavor of the day, which they do recognize or support has the GOOGLE Monument/Logo memorialized or decorated. See past pop-culture events such as XX Genetic glorification, Homo-Leninist recognition, Anti-American admiration, and International tributes to Foreign Nation Associations
This is not recognition; its a minimalization and a slap in the face to a country which upholds their ability to have such freedoms.
