I had the great pleasure to see King Tuts Treasures in New Orleans - way back when it was making a tour around the U.S.
Breath taking exhibit especially when one entered the room where the Gold Mask was displayed!

Was there any clue as to why he had long head like his father?

Ok, that’ll make me keep reading. The bandages used to wrap Tut’s mummy were found in 1907, but his mummy wasn’t discovered until 1922. Gotta see them esplane that.

“...similar to modern first aid gauzes...they show fingerprints indicating that someone had wiped his hands on them.”
Whoever wrote this, I have to start following them. :)

Different chamber, presumably. I read somewhere (don’t ask me to site source, just going on memory) that several chambers of pots and storage jars were uncovered before the great burial chamber was discovered. These storage jars contained everything about the burial process, whereas the burial chamber was related to Tut and his possessions.

Heh... and for all anyone knows, the reason for the fingerprints is, some ancient Egyptian used these to wipe himself.

it was one hell of a long unwound bandage, took some time to follow it to the end.
