A hot car interior, and the smell of White Castle...

Once long ago, I was driving through a Navy base parking lot next to the enlisted mess, and I hit a puddle of cooking grease that someone had dumped out in the lot. My car smelled like hamburgers for a week as the stuff burned off the exhaust system!

I think I'll pass on the burger scented candle.

Those of us in the Western US crave In-n-Out burger....

That's what Tiger Woods was craving, and look at the trouble HE got into!

My maternal grandmother used to talk about when you could get a White Castle hamburger for a nickel.

Now I’m hungry :)

For their anniversary.
It’s one of the things that’s kept their marriage (and love) so strong.

I looked at the history and saw why I wasn’t familiar with it. I can’t remember the name of the place I went to in the 1990s (a block or two over from Newbury St if I recall).

And then there was Charlie’s next to the Rat in Kenmore Sq.

I only ate there once or twice and one of those nights was Thanksgiving when nothing else was open.

For those of us who grew up in the Washington DC area, there was no substitute for the magnificent LITTLE TAVERN:

Did they EVER go to Wendys without a camera crew and outside of the campaign season? The report in 2004 was that they (and the Kerrys who were with them) didn't finish the meal, ate something catered right afterwards.
