6 rangers killed in a single incident?
LOL! Say the word “dingo” and that line from Seinfeld pops into my head.
Actually it was rangers that killed six dingos:

“”Mr Devlin said six dingoes were killed by rangers after the animals displayed increasingly aggressive behaviour.””
This article is so poorly written that I cannot figure out what the point is that they’re trying to make.
I have a young “australian cattle dog.” These are supposed to have some dingo in their blood. She’s the strangest dog that I’ve ever had. Whenever she does something un-doglike, we blame it on her dingo heritage.
Wow, thanks for that info. I was just about to ask if they make good house dogs. Now I got my answer. However, they are cute.

That has got to be one of the cutest “pups” I’ve seen in my life... I can clearly imagine just how soft that fur is in the “fluffy” places! Not that I would go near it to find out, mind you! LOL
"Genetic (mitochondrial DNA) testing being performed at the University of South Carolina, College of Science and Mathematics, indicates that these dogs, related to the earliest domesticated dogs, are the remnant descendants of the feral pariah canids who came across the Bering land mass 8,000 to 11,000 years ago as hunting companions to the ancestors of the Native Americans."
I have read about those dogs. We always called them Mexican Yellow Dogs because you always saw them there. We have a Black Mouth Cur which looks like a hound dog Yellow Dog cross.
Looks like Old Yeller.
You can see him in this video I made of my pups at play (alone & with their friends)
interesting thread on dingo pups
I posted my link to my video with my friend’s dog Tippy (a dingo) inclulded)
HE LOVES HIS DINGO.. his soul mate!
I recall a 78 record (yup I am THAT OLD) when I was a child of a story about dingoes.. It was several records on both sides. VERY SCARY. wonder if it is still somewhere in this house with all the other “treasures”
I have owned two dingos. They were great dogs. Fiercely loyal and very friendly to those they knew. I miss them every day.
