Thanks! It’s good to be home and among FRiends..though my relatives are staunch conservatives and well informed.
Very interesting photos, ltos. I think it went right over my head, but they are pretty creations! :)
Aw, thank you, yorkie. That little bear with the bandaged arm is so sweet. :)
Oh, my! I was wondering if you took that photo, and how beautiful to look out your kitchen window and see it! We have lots of quail here, and there’s something so sweet about watching mom and 6 or 8 baby quail walking along behind her single file.
And I love the pictures you made of the deer in your yard. I loved the one where he was standing back observing...do you know the one I’m talking about. It was like he was being extremely quiet!
They are beautiful animals..thats for sure!
Oh my goodness...its sweet BUT I know you don’t want them eating your flowers. I have some very pretty geraniums now and I’m glad we don’t have deer around. They are not far away though....
Several blocks from my house on this old 2 lane highway, there’s a cemetary on both sides of the highway. I go that way at least once a day. Not long ago, two small deer went across that highway from one cemetary to the other. I wasn’t even close to hitting them but it could happen! They were so cute.
Sounds like a very pleasant trip, Gail! I am so glad you had an enjoyable time!
Good morning, Billie. Today's Opener is lovely. I had forgotten this one. Thank you for bringing it back. It is wonderful having you back; we've missed you. Seems everyone has too much to do recently. What has happened to our leisure time? Hope your bruises and hurts heal quickly. Have a Funny day. :)
Hi, Amy, thank you so much for those sweet words. I'm glad we have quite a few openings from last year we can re-use! It's been a while since I've made a new one.
Love the Bluebird of Happiness!
Trying to have a "funny" day. :) (it only hurts when I forget and lean on it!)
I got lucky this morning. I thought he was so sweet!!
I’m glad you got to take an extra little nap this morning! Love your cute little ‘runner’!
Oh, Pam, I know you’re glad the deer wasn’t hurt really bad, but $2400 damage to your car had to ouch a bit, too!
What a gorgeous view that is, yorkie! Yikes, I wonder if the deer ever get hit by a golf ball! They probably don’t understand “Fore!” :)
I liked this one...its sweet!
So huge and scary! I would die if I ever saw one of those. I saw the recipe.....would you eat that? I guess they would say ‘it tastes like chicken’.....LOL! I would rather it taste like filet mignon!!
He’s a beautiful guy! Sounds like you live in a great wide open place - away from city hustle and bustle! We do, too. I love the peace and quiet of ‘country’ life - and sounds of dove cooing and mocking birds sounding like dozens of other birds!
OH MY GOODNESS, NAN! It is good to ‘see’ you! No, nothing is broken. Just bruises fortunately. I think I’m an accident just waiting to happen anyway!
LOL! Well, isn’t that a cutie! THANK you, Seadog! That’s cute AND sweet!
I love it when you post those two deer. :)
So sweet, thank you!
