They are beautiful animals! Unfortunately, one darted out in the street and hit my car, about 2 years ago. I couldn’t figure out what the noise was and I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him rolling on the street. I felt soooooooo bad. Fortunately, he got up and ran back into the fields. I had $2400.00 worth of damage to my car, but it could have been alot worse, so for that, I was grateful.

"Doe a deer, a female deer..."
This picture was taken in September,
As some friends and I were leaving Enchantment Resort.
The deer were feeding on grass at the golf course
And didn't pay any attention to passing cars.
(This is about three miles from where I live.)

LOL! ...Had to chase a forked horn out of the garden last night.I think it might have been this guy I saw earlier.

Every time we post deer, I always do this one!
It was in my son's yard eating from his apple tree.
My older son hunts them and this son feeds them!
He has now moved into a a real wooded area but hasn't
seen any deer there. He saw his first snake the
other evening. It was a black snake and he let it go on its way.

Who was in my yard in December:
This buck had a 'harem' of five does, that followed him everywhere.
Guess those ladies never heard of 'hard to get'.
(Those little tramps!) LOL!
