I’ve seen them under the bird feeders here, also! What I meant by nowhere to go, is because they always go in so many directions. But sometimes I’ve seen one crossing the street(I slow down), cause usually more are to follow. It is soooooooo cute!

Good evening, had a great family reunion, and a great trip over to see my sister and little Haley, she is looking like a healthy 3 month old, I am pleased to report. We missed seeing Dolly by just ONE day! But the music was great.

I was opening one of the two lids to the dumpster (they're heavy tin so they don't flop in the wind), and the lid fell back down on my arm; got 3 of the most humongous bruises I've ever seen - one being right on the funnybone (but it isn't funny - it hurts!)

You don’t think they’re into sharing? It didn’t appear to me that he was all that interested in his ‘harem’. He probably wouldn’t miss a “doe, a deer, a female deer”........

Thank you, tiapam. I remember how pretty it was with the red apple....but with my monitor going out, everything on there is a shade of green. Not fun...boohoo! I will get a new one as soon as Barry has time. He said he had already found one he thought I would love. But he does have a job to do....LOL!

That is one of my most favorite pictures you have ever posted, JC. I just love that red apple in the deer’s mouth.

Oh, no! So THAT Is what happened to all my geraniums. And, all this time, I was blaming the javelinas!!! I put in a dozen big plants last year, and in just a few days, I found them all pulled up and chewed up. I salvaged a couple of roots, and they are in a pot by my front porch, and now blooming beautifully - and covered with cayenne pepper.

They sure do! And I reconnected with some of the family on my mom’s side to boot. :)
