47. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands.
48. And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came, and drew nigh to meet David, that David hastened, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
50. So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51. Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

My grandaughters have always ‘looked up’ to her. I did not watch “Dancing With The Stars” the other night, but if I had, I would have turned it to the Animal Planet, within 30 seconds of her ‘performance’.
I guess I’m getting to be like my Grandma was......when girls wore those long bermuda shorts, and she thought it was exposing WAY too much!
I look at the cable news channels, and I cannot believe how ‘nasty’ some of those female newscasters look. Even Megyn Kelly (FNC) showed more skin yesterday, than material. I guess ‘professional attire’ is “Gone with the wind.”

Today we have children of Able, loving god and doing their best to honor and praise God in a manner acceptable to Him.
Today our Christian Churches are quite lenient in teaching the Scriptures and the results of sinning.
We will one day bend our knee and appear before Christ ... for reward or for judgment.
We choose. Choose wisely.
God is not mocked. Jesus was obedient in all things. We can not reach His level of obedience; but we can do what the Scripture tells us as best we can. When we slip, we can repent of it before God, He will forgive us if we are sincere.
God knows our heart.
Father, God bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, the lost, the brokenhearted, the persecuted believers of the world, and Muslims, in Jesus name, amen.
