I lost my job and I am about to become homeless. My landlord is trying to help but I only have til Friday to find a job. I am 52 and I am alone. FReepers are some of the best prayer warriors I know. Please pray for me.

My prayers are with you. I ended up getting a job through a temp agency, and the company then hired me on full time...it’s worth a try ;)

I live in a small town in Southern Oregon. I had been grooming for Petco but I was only making minimum wage. A competitor offered me much more money. I went there when they had no groomers at all. They hired 3 more groomers and fired me after 2 weeks. The bosses at corporate won’t let my old boss hire me back. Grooming shops here are closing left and right. I took a few years recently of business tech in college. Not much call for that around here.Thank you ALL so much for your prayers and suggestions and for helping me feel like I am not alone. I love my FReeper family.

Are there no other local groomers who might hire you? You said some were closing, but could there be still a few in business? Would be good to use your skills as a groomer.

Will do (pray). Don’t forget: He will complete the good work He started in you. The circumstances He uses to do it don’t always feel comfortable, but He’s looking to conform you to the image of His Son. Keep the faith & keep praising Him, no matter what. That kicks the enemy in the teeth.
