Who is Dunkleman? He was the victim of the ill-conceived co-host idea in Idol's first season.
I think the British version of Idol (or Xfactor) has two guys co-hosting, so they tried the same thing for the American version. They just looked like a gay couple.

I don’t get the Dunkleman reference. Seacrest was killing time last night talking about the Begathon. Part of the show would be broadcast from another location. Seacrest said that "Dunkleman will host that portion." And the audience applauded. Seacrest then had to explain it was a cheap shot at his old co-host. Classy, Ryan.
