Good evening everyone.
The MSM seems all too willing to give O a bounce and boost with the passage of Health Care "Reform".
We'll see...not all polls support this, but DC commentators can convince themselves of most anything.
They are easily convinced by the arrogant, cocky, and supremely self-regarding President.
In the 70’s by the end of the week,,ohyea!!!
Good Morning! It was 75 here yesterday, and very windy. More of the same is promised for today.
Good Morning from windy central Texas. The weatherman said we’d get up to 84 today. Yesterday my whole morning went kaflooey. I spent well over an hour trying to get my computer on line, I finally went to tech support and that took another hour. It seemed to throw my whole day off. I did begin planting some seeds though. Today, after a funeral, I’m going to plant my Maggie rose and some other flowers and flower seeds. CM, my money plants are beginning to pop up.
THE LEGISLATOR’S PRAYER
“Our Budget, which art in shambles,
Nightmare be they name.
The reckoning hath come,
The damage will be done
Statewide, as it is in our
Home Districts.
Give us this Day new sources of
Revenue
And forgive us our Double-talk
As we raise taxes while calling
them “Fees”.
And lead us not into the clutches
of Special Interests,
But deliver us from voter
Backlash in November.
For thou must be balanced
Regardless of consequences
For ever and ever,
Amen.”
Babies (and little chicks) are God’s opinion that life should continue.
How did your dr.’s appointments go?
I win.
I saw a rainbow tonight, too. Thank you for your phrase. I am not looking forward to a peaceful time in the states. The news which makes it this far is enough to raise my blood pressure to alarming heights!
Yeah, but you won only because I was at the basketball game.
I’m looking forward to your return. Safe and smooth travel prayers offered.
Ha!!
He tackled many chores during his vacation..none of my ideas..all his....yet I'm very happy that they were completed. We think so much alike that whatever he wants to do..is fine with me. Rarely, do I ask for him to do something because what I want..he wants. I'm blessed.
Good game?
No, it was actually quite boring. I spent more time socializing and eating supper than I did watching the games. Hubby was reffing. He enjoys that.
As far as the return goes, I’m kinda sorta looking forward to being in the states, BUT, I’m leaving some holes here for which there are no replacements. The work won’t stop because of that, but it won’t flow as smoothly as we’d like.
It sounds like you and Greg are similar to hubby and me. Hubby and I got a serious letter over the last weekend. But he wasn’t here so I didn’t respond immediately. When we did finally get to discuss it, I could have answered it w/o him because we agreed on all points. I’m glad I waited though. It helps the men feel important when you consult w/them. ;)
I keep hearing advertisements for brain vitamin supplements...you know...to help with “foggy” brains...maybe it’s time to look into those...speaking for myself, that is!
I bet that there is much validity in those claims. I know the B12 injections have made a huge difference to me.
A tale of 2 Cities City Journal on DC and Hollywood
Well, my great grandparents lived to their 90s. He drank vinegar from the homemade pickles and she at all the fat from his meat..Jack Sprat...perhaps. :-)
