This is a crucial week. Keep calling your reps ,folks. Tell them how you feel about the healthcare bill. After doing so..continue to pray.
I do call and Email Prairie, but with the things that they have been doing lately, regardless of what WE THE PEOPLE think makes it seem useless.
Trying to stay positive IG, honest. The one call I did make that made me feel god was to call MY congressman. I called Paul Ryans office and told them to tell him that I was unbelievably proud that he was my congressman. :)
P.S. I have yellow crocuses ;)
On another front, I'm wondering if he is making bribes to House members (Kucinich s.p.,) et. al. that is a direct impeachable offense, as follows: from Article II, Section 4 " The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.."
Bribery is listed right next to Treason. If we can prove he bribed House Members, we have a case. I might have to update my resolution. What wonderful poetic justice it would be to see him dragged kicking and screaming from the White House for conviction of bribery when he was allegedly a Constitutional professor at one of the colleges he attended on foreign aid because he is not even an American citizen (he had to relinquish his American citizenship to become an Indonesian citizen in those days in Indonesia, BUT WHO CARES? He was elected by the people...) but actually an Indonesian citizen.
no crocus here, yet. But SOON. Maybe tomorrow in the snow.
I still haven’t seen anything of my Daffys. Wondering if the damnable squirril ate them all over the winter?? I planted new bulbs last fall, and now I’m worried I’ll never get to see them.

I don’t think Americans will go that far. If we’re attacked again, he might try declaring martial law, but I don’t think the General Public will put up with it. Now, on the other hand, those who still worship at his feet, will, but they, I think, will be a very small minority.
Help me, someone, I’ve re-read the constitution..According to Article II, Section 4: The President, Vice President and ALL civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of Treason, BRIBERY, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors. It seems to me that an awful lot of BRIBERY has been going on, like the LA Purchase, offering a candidate a cushie government job if the candidate will step aside so another candidate of the same party will have a clear run for an office. Am I reading this Article and Section correctly. Will anyone in our judicial branch of government have a pair of brass to check this out? Will a lawyer in the Republican Party have a pair of brass to look into this?
That’s great. Simple and direct. I love it!

It sure sounds like to me, but, “Dammit, Jim! I’m an engineer, not a lawyer!”
Personally, IG, the whole health care bill should be scrapped. I don’t know a hospital that will not give care to someone who really needs it. Paperwork must be filled out by the patient or family. The federal government already gives a certain amount of money for just this purpose. There is fraud in the present Medicare and Medicaid that we have now, that’s for sure. No matter the business, there will be fraud, sometimes. Get busy and find the sceamers, cheaters and thieves, that will help Medicare and Medicaid save a lot of money. (We even had a foreman, in our small business, that was stealing from us. I pulled an audit and with the evidence, I found, and a copy of it in his hand, he left quietly.) Fraud is easy for a sneak thief, if it is trusted.
Americans should never lay down and play weak to anyone. Our country was founded on a bunch of steel backed people who would not give up. Our Declaration of Independence was put together by people who believed in Freedom, subservience to NO MASTER. They believed we are our own masters, answerable to no one but our Maker and ourselves.
....but some will answer...real live...and take your message!
No joke I will proudly put it in my yard.
So do I.
Prevail we shall!!
I think insurance can be fixed my fixing the malpractice garbage which is what raised the cost of health care to astronomical amounts to begin with.
40/50 years ago you could walk into the dr’s office, pay your fare share, get treated and go home.
Now, even WITH insurance you practically have to mortage the farm to pay for any quality care.
My doctor (as of a few months ago) will not honor ANY insurance provider!
dadgum stupid hacker-wacker!
My check card was compromised this week. I have no card. Sheesh!
The critical increase in medical care began in the 1960s. I remember my mil having a colestomy. I walked down the hall from her room. At the end of the hall was aroom with 3 beds in it. 3 women were so happy with medicare...they decided to take their vacations every year in that same hospital in that same room. Of course the cost of the colestomy was triple what it had been when I was a nurse, because the government had then stuck it’s nose into the medical care. Tuition in universities who accept grants for whatever the university says it’s interested in, the cost of tuition and everything else at the university sky rockets. Whenever the government sticks our money into a private entity, the costs roar to new high levels. When government buys or takes over an entity...it eventually fails. Social Security, post office, am-track are a few. I’m waiting to see what happens to GM and bank takeovers.
Did his rates go down any?
I’m with Neets. If we pay as we go, if we deal directly with the doctor ourselves, then the rates would be more reasonable. It isn’t the doctors who have purchased the insurance and they really shouldn’t have to listen to them.
We buy the insurance and it is up to us to work out the financing.
But have you ever tried to argue with an insurance company? They are so aggravating and can bully you. They know that eventually most people give up and swallow the penalties.
