One of the best things about Tarantino is that he is one of the few "auteurs" who are NOT political in their work.
Pulp Fiction came out my freshman year of college, and we were all obsessed with it, geeks that we were.

Hurt Locker is well written, engages the viewer, but much of the movie, especially the end, are a little fantastic. As long as you remember that it is a movie, not a documentary, you will enjoy it.Thanks... sounds pretty good, although I've heard from some vets that there's not a lot of accuracy in the film.
What's your opinon of Avatar? I hope to see it just for the CGI special effects, but heard all about the stupid uber-left plot.
