TO: Amy and All FRiends
Dear Friends, I have a relative (grand-daughter of my Aunt whom you have prayed for and she is doing wonderfully now) who is embarking on an epic and dangerous journey today March 18th. She will be gone on this journey until March 28th.
Her name is Sydney (I will give her name to put better focus on the prayers) and she is 17 and attends Christian school. She and a few of her peers, and many adults from her church community are going on a mission to Uganda.
I am very concerned for her safety and the safety of all who are going.
I’ve been told it is safe where they are going to do their missionary work, but I would like to cover them in prayer to assure them safe passage to what I believe is one of the most dangerous places in the world.
Many thanks in advance for your kind help as always, TCP

Ephesians 6:11,17
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God.”
Godspeed sweet Sydney
Hate to have to leave but we have an appointment to talk to the staff at the Nursing and Rehab center where JK's mom is residing. I am dreading this. We have several issues to hash out with them and I am not looking forward to this meeting at all. It's a beautiful, nine million dollar, stare-of-the-art facility that just opened last autumn, but they have some serious employee problems. I will be very happy when my MIL completes her physical therapy and we can move her back to her room at Assisted Living. It can't happen too soon for us!
LOL
Nope!
Slowest day ever.
Offering prayers for Sydney and the others as they embark on this mission.
Father, please hold them close and protect them as they journey to Uganda to spread your word. Amen.
Please Mark Every Step your Lambs will Take, Loving Lord. May their Path be Made Smooth, and their Work be Blessed from On High. Thank you for Sidney and her Friends, Caring God. May they be Blessed Beyond Measure, even More than we can Ask or Think.
We Love You, Dear Father our King, as we Pray in our Jesus' Name, amen.

Sorry I couldn't be with you all today, just had so much to do here at home and some errands to run and hair appt. My niece will be in from Mississippi with her hubby and son and I had some extra cleaning to do, even though I don't feel like it! They are coming in for the big Nascar race. They have never been to one before. We have so many people coming into our town for our 2 big races each year, that it makes it hard to get out and go anywhere. But we love them to come as it brings much needed revenue into our city!!
They will be spending most of their time at my son's but will be here one day and night so I will have to prepare for that. I must be really getting old as I don't like to have company the way I used to. I wanna go somewhere and let somebody wait on me a while.....LOL! Know what I mean?
I read most of your all's posts and agree with almost all you said. I haven't enjoyed Idol as much this year as in the past. I did tune in last night and they have some really good contestants. In the past, if I missed an episode, I would go crazy. But as they say "Ive lost that old feeling."
I miss you all when I don't have time to get on and post and chat. But we all have to take breaks at times. 'Stuff happens'...

Amen to your prayer for Sydney and her friends.
Great Dwight Yoakam video. Thanks.
Amen KM.
Godspeed Sydney.
Sincere prayers for Sydney and the other Christian friends who are beginning this journey to Uganda in Your name, dear God. Be with them and protect them. We ask these things in Thy name. AMEN.
Thank you for your lovely prayer, Kitty!
Beautiful prayer Kitty! Brought tears to my eyes. Thank you.
Hi there, I have to chime in on the American Idol topic. I thought that this week, Aaron’s rendition of “Angie” was beautiful.
I really would like Crystal to give up the dreadlocks. I just can’t get past the “ick factor” on dreads.
The gal who left the show this week, I found to be interesting and had a style all her own. I did not expect her to go this week.
Hi Jaycee. I’ve been missing you, girl! And I am envious of your NASCAR race. We have tickets to the Infineon race in Sonoma in June. I can’t wait. We take the 5th wheel and meet our son and his family and make a three day weekend out of it. I don’t care for NASCAR all the much the rest of the year, but I am a HUGE fan when the June Infineon race comes around. Your niece and family are going to have a great time, I am sure of it. Are you going to the race?
Glad you enjoyed it, Dave. He is one of the few Country Western singers that I really like.
LOL. I know what you mean! My issue isn't the dreads, it's the nose stud. That's a major "ick factor" for me.
Glad to have you chiming in. Aaron did do a good job on Angie, but overall I am not terribly impressed with the talent this year. I like Casey and I like Crystal, and I think the two of them are going to go through to the end, but....then again, I could be wrong.
Thanks for sharing. Prayers for Sydney. May she have a safe trip, may she accomplish her goal and may she grow because of her travels
That is just the most precious lab puppy ever!
I am adding my prayers to the others here for Sydney and the others in her group as they embark on their journey and mission.
