The kids are calling it Two Teachers, One Chair, and it has all the makings of a YouTube hit.
But school administrators and parents are hard pressed to find humour in a graphic lap dance caught on video between two teachers at a spirit rally at Churchill High School in Winnipeg last week.

Time to ban cell phones and cameras from public schools. It is obvious the students are not responsible enough to use them correctly.

Skinner! What's going on here?...
Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I think they should both be fired. Their conduct and their lack of judgment is appalling.

Churchill High School in Winnipeg
Sounds a lot more like Ward Churchill High than Winston Churchill High. Perhaps they should just rename it Striperella High and be done with it.

Somewhat related:
When I was a sophomore in High School it had for some time been the tradition that the day before the big football game of the year there would be an assembly where various groups would put on skits, etc. That year one skit was along the lines of “An Hour in the Teacher’s Lounge”. At that time it was rumored that the principal and a quite attractive blond English teacher were having an affair. The skit made it fairly plain that the authors of the skit shared that belief, to the great amusement not only of the students but of much of the faculty.
Now, this was in the 70’s and there was no explicit content. But the next year there was no such assembly. Later that year the principal showed up at the Senior Prom with his wife. One look at her and the student body forgave the principal any dalliances he may have committed.

No surprises here. You should have seen the group dance routine performed for the parents and families by the girls in our local middle school as part of their little back to school pep rally. The sight of scantily clad 13 year olds engaged in pelvic thrusting and bottom shaking while their proud parents sat there positively beaming ("my little Lauren's all growed up!") was disturbing and vulgar in the extreme. I got up and left taking my family with me. Given the filth allowed into most homes these days, "age appropriate" means nothing to most people.

Same here, when I was in the ninth grade some in my class were accused of “coping a feel” and it was like the Inquisition.

I’ll bet she said something like “I had no idea he was going to do that...”
I presume he was suspended?

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself) The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
