"Sarandon, who recently separated from Tim Robbins, got an unpleasant party favor when transsexual performer Rose Wood vomited on stage directly onto the Oscar winner."

"That sort of thing is foreplay for Susie. She's a nasty little liberal skank...trust me."

This is for anyone under the mistaken notion that Susan Sarandon is just another dopey, naive liberal. The so-called "anti-war" group, Troops Out Now (TON) is actually a front for the dangerously far left/communist, Workers World Party. WWP also started up ANSWER. ANSWER is now 'technically' under control of the "Party for Socialism and Liberation". However, the PSL is headed by former leaders of the Workers World Party. Commie groups tend to multiple like cockroaches, probably so it appears to the public like there's so many different groups and movements out there.

Massive Anti-War March Says 'Troops Out Now'
The Political Beat
January 31, 2007

"Celebrities, elected officials:

Actor Jane Fonda, the leading celebrity activist during the Vietnam War, especially in the movement supporting GI resistance, rejoined the anti-war struggle after a 34-year absence from protests. She had been attacked mercilessly by the rightwing since that time. She told the audience she had not wanted to add notoriety to the movement, but that now, 'Silence is no longer an option.'

Actors Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon spoke, with Sarandon standing up for the veterans abandoned by the Bush administration after they've finished their tour in Iraq.

A small number of Democratic Party representatives in the House spoke or showed their faces, most demanding that their party's protest go beyond the 'symbolic.' Rep. John Conyers (Mich.) was there, also Jerry Nadler (N.Y.), who introduced a bill cutting off funding except to bring the troops home. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) came out against any funding for the war.

Rep. Maxine Waters (Calif.) raked Bush and Dick Cheney over the coals: '[Bush] says he is the decider. He's not. He's the liar.'..."

I would have given a week’s salary to see that.

On the plus side, it probably made Susan smell better.

A witness reports, "She actually handled it very well. She was laughing while a bunch of guys came over to towel her off."

It's nice to see she has a sense of humor. I wish I knew where her next appearance was going to be. I'd like to make her laugh.
