Well, I went to an autograph show one time and saw this guy at a table...
And it was just about as exciting seeing him there as it is on this screen.

Band members are named Sweaty Eddie, Elephant Fingers, Felonius Punk, Thor, and Cat Whittington, with a manager named Gnarly Charlie.
The current issue is #6 (2005).

I still listen to Summertime Dream regularly. I played it to death on my road trip out west this past summer in fact. We listened to "Race Among the Ruins" while racing among ruins. My GF had never heard of him until then and now she has that CD in her car's CD player right now. Gordon Lightfoot is awesome.

He was also from Barney Miller. A show where the guys never seems to leave the station. Just sitting around at desks. And the atmosphere at the hotel where the event was held seemed to capture that perfectly...
