Found a microwave for the sight impaired at Walmart online. It’s pretty cool actually. It talks to you so you can operate it with just a twist of the dial.

And she said we should do something fun....because it's President's Day...
..and Papa said Abraham Lincoln is one of his favorites, and I said George Washington...
..and (horrors!) my sweet little 5 yr old said Obama was hers!!!!
Mind you, her parents are strongly conservative, we are strong Conservatives, so when we told her parents, they said it must be the only president she knows of....
Of course that makes sense, although I'm sure her school has mentioned & taught about the others...
It just blew me away!
And she wouldn't change her mind either.
We will be working on her, for sure.
She's not exposed to the news....they are careful to keep innocuous educational programs on for her...
It really gave me the shivers!
I would hate to think my 5 yr old granddaughter is getting indoctrinated at such an early age.

Good afternoon.
I slept most of the night. I’m in a bit of pain at the moment because my last pain pill was at 1630 yesterday. I’m expecting to have my pain under control in about 30 minutes because 45 minutes ago I took another one.
I skipped a later night dose because I wanted to take a sleeping pill. That’s why the pain returned.
The top of my head is so very tender. Still quite a bit of swelling there, too.
In spite of all this, I really do think I’m on the mend.
That makes sense. Plus, his mug is all over the TV.
Did you learn your lesson? ;-)

Practically - probably not.
I understand completely. Trust me. I'm not one to lecture.
Is there an anti-inflamatory in your pain med?
