Good evening!
Another week, another Dem disaster in the making...this time it's Gov. Paterson of NY, who's reported to be in scandal mode free fall. However IF he should resign, that would probably be a slight plus for his party...moving him out of the picture.
Another storm will take aim at the Mid-Atlantic area this week, dropping more inches, not feet, probably of snow on the region this time.
FWIW, I’ll be w/o my computer for this morning. I’ll be back on line about 2100 CST.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BITWHACKER!!!
Oh Geeeez....;-))
I've never seen so many deleted posts on a thread.....
Get ready, because it’s noted on my calendar for tomorrow!!
;o)
Sure hope you’re healing well and not feeling pain, dear one!
Take good care.
Now THAT’S funny! LOL! They might as well delete the thread. Yesterday I substituted at the catholic school here in a second grade class, 7 hours of near chaos. I got home wiped out. We had Mass that morning and later a tour of the santuary and the confessionals were the biggest hit. I told the 20 little darlings I was glad they know where the confessional are because they will be needing to use them soon. Of course we had to have a heavy downpour so recess, gym, even library were in the classroom. After one kid I think acted like Eddie Haskell complained his left tonsil hurt all during mass, two girls that morning had tummy aches and visited the nurse, and then another threw up in the bucket that had ALL the coats and lunch boxes so as I am cleaning off barf of the kids’ things the head nun comes in to introduce herself to me and see if everything is going well. The kids got to take their messy things home in plastic bags for mommy to finish up. “We” wrote a valentine on the board for their teacher that said “Roses are yellow, violets are blue, we’re glad you are back, because we really missed you!”, they all signed it (I was tempted to)So, final count, 4 to the nurse, 1 went home, and 1 had to talk to the principal about kicking a girl in the back. I am not sure they will want me back any time soon, and to think I thought my biggest problem in a NJ high school was the two students who counterfeited $10 bills and tried to spend them in the cafeteria, and the US Secret Service agents visited them.
I am feeling a bit of pain. But ... I have my computer back. Whew! Withdrawal you know.
I opt for your NJ gig. At least they didn’t puke all over!
I have to admit that I really did get a huge laugh out of your story about the second grade class.
Your fall was very acrobatic. Sorry that you had such a bad one - always a terrible thing, especially when you have a bad back and land on it.
Hope your pain is better soon.
Thank you.
How’s Noelle? Have they given a target weight for her going home?
Good morning.
Feeling better?
**************HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!****************
Yes. I’m not drugged so there is no pain, but the pain is under control. I’ll keep up the dosage for another three days and then begin cutting back.
I’ve been up every now and then, walking up the hall to the kitchen or bathroom and then back to bed. Intrepid explorer, aren’t I? LOL!
Aren’t you up a mite early?
>>[from the NY Post editorial] In fact, the usual suspects quickly took to the Web to declare that the blizzards of 2010 actually make the case for global warming.
It is almost humorous when the “Warmers” declare the snow and cold as caused by Global Warming.
I wish someone would ask them why they went out of their way to illegally hide these data if it made their case.
Hi, glad to see you.
Good night.
THAT is HILARIOUS!!
