Good evening!
Another week, another Dem disaster in the making...this time it's Gov. Paterson of NY, who's reported to be in scandal mode free fall. However IF he should resign, that would probably be a slight plus for his party...moving him out of the picture.
Another storm will take aim at the Mid-Atlantic area this week, dropping more inches, not feet, probably of snow on the region this time.
Good Morning. We are digging out this morning.
Yes I was and it felt good ;-).
I am HAPPY HAPPY Greg took the day off.
Good morning. Aren't I the nosey one!!
I do like snow, honest. In the late 50’s I was sent to Alaska. loved it, stayed an extra year up there (Eilson AFB). I do have to say, wasn’t many people of the other sex up there. Went bear hunting one day, when we came back to out camp site, a bear had come in and tore everything we had up. Happy to repost I did not go bear hunding again.
Caleb (second adopted kid of D and SIL, LOVES coming to my ‘shack in the back’. YES, he gets his way and he now knows where I ‘hide’ the candies for him and TJ and bet you would NEVER believe that D fusses at me for loading them up on sweets, I mean what the heck are pawpaws for anyhow.

I assume you are still ‘over there’, Allie ask me all the time how you are doing after I told what ya’ll did. J, I sure am proud of her, she is sincere about going into the mission field.

:) Hate to complain don’t we? Seems so trivial next to below zero and 2 foot of snow. DIL felt the earthquake in Illinois this morning and thought it was the plow hitting the garage door.
There was a 4.3 earthquake in northern Illinois around 5:00 a.m. today. It was felt in parts of southern Wisconsin.
lol, I posted before I read your last post.;-)
Really need baseball.
Did you get much snow?
:-)
Its an all out Blizzard here....visibility down to 1/4 mile and heavy snow.
Yes, we’re still over here. We hope to be here until the middle of December this year. Then, we’ll be in the states for six months. I am so looking forward to spring time in the south.
Other than maintaining a close walk with God (which is basic for everyone!), I would say that the best character trait for someone in my line of work is FLEXIBILITY. She’ll find herself doing things which she’s only read instructions, but no actual experience. Nothing ever goes as it was planned. Schedules are made but seldom adhered to (for whatever reason). Agendas are set but always have to be changed.
Flexibility and adaptation.
I like pictures of snow. It is very pretty.
Y'all are hard-hit this year.
Yes, I think it is still dripping here. Hopefully it will slack off soon and sometime today we can hang clothes on the line.
I suppose Izzy doesn’t like the snow much. At least not this deep.
Hi Jemian—so I read on another post you will be returning stateside in December—Is this a change in plans? I was thinking you were going to be there a couple years before returning—just curious—sometimes things don’t record in my long term memory correctly.
Daughter spilled pop on her computer keyboard—oops. Glad it wasn’t me. It’s a laptop, so they have hooked up another keyboard but I keep forgetting and start typing on the non-working one.
Just was looking at the new 9/11 photos that were released. It really makes one’s heart ache.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Sunny/some clouds here in eastern WA. Just such a strange winter everywhere—forcast here is for snow or rain tonite and rain tomorrow. News said people are taking off their studded snow tires already even though they can stay on until March 31. Hope we don’t get hit with late snowfalls. They might be sorry.
Hang in there.:-)
Hi. Stay warm
:(
