According to Syrian media, archaeological expeditions working at North-eastern Syria (Hasaka Province) have discovered several collective tombs and parts of seals with different shapes in addition to 27 cuneiform tablets dating back to 2500 BC. Director of Hasska Antiquities Department Abdul-Masih Baghdo... added that the expedition also studied several archaeological findings to find out the location of the buildings dating back to the Babylonian and Mitanni periods. Three... tombs were also unearthed at the site of Tal Majnuna, dating back to the period between 3600 to 3800 BC. The Japanese expedition working at the site of Tal Siker al-Ehmir discovered many residential buildings with stone foundations and floors painted with plaster, inside of which several archaeological artefacts made of clay and firestone were unearthed. The American expedition working at the site of Tal Mouzan unearthed parts of a stone-made wall surrounding a temple dating back to 2500 BC along with walls and floors built of bricks dating back to 3600 BC... The American expedition had also unearthed parts of seals with different shapes dating back to 2500 BC. The Japanese expedition working at the site of Tal Tabban discovered many archaeological buildings, walls and architectural structures dating back to different historical phases, the most important of which were 27 cuneiform tablets. The Italian expedition working at the site of Tal Beri discovered brick-built buildings dating back to the first half of the third millennium BC. Many clay pieces were unearthed inside the buildings in addition to discovering an architectural structure dating back to the period between the second and third century AD. The Russian expedition working at the site of Tal Khazna has unearthed several buildings and architectural structures dating back to second half of the second millennium BC.

There will be the inevitable smarm about the earth being only 6000 years old when a thread like this runs at FR. I have always wanted to ask both sides of that debate, ‘why would God give the time scale for events which occurred prior to there being intelligent life with spirits, which mark time from their origin?’
