So pretty, Kitty..I just lost power for about 15 minutes...
It’s really snowing..but it’s melting, too.
Still looks lovely out.
I’m heating up my frozen turkey soup while I have power..LOL

We had some nice days last week, but knew winter was coming back. :) I think we probably got about 4 inches snow this morning - it’s melting pretty fast this afternoon, but the wind is still pretty chilly. :)

Thank you, jaycee. I forget some of the openings until I go back through my ‘archives’ and I like some better than others - thought these were really pretty aspens. :)

Thanks, Amy. It is a rerun from January of last year. :) I still like the snow (PICTURES!), and think they're all so pretty. Yours matches the opening so well!

Hope my computer is stable again, but got a scare when I opened a mail from one that said (someone) from "Amazon Support". I had just ordered Danny Gokey's cd from Amazon and thought it had something to do with the order. Opened the mail and it had a link that said something about 'info'. When I clicked to see what kind of info, it opened an official-looking Windows Security Alert (logo & all) message which said my pc was affected with viruses and trojans that could potentially harm my computer and a checkbox warning that I should remove them all immediately. I clicked the button but instead of 'removing' all of them, it wanted to download some unknown software. I canceled the install and deleted the whole thing, and realized it got me! It was a bogus email, and the official looking Windows Security Alert was most likely a screen capture, with the whole thing an active link to whatever program they wanted to install on my pc. :(

I had JUST run spyware and virus programs yesterday, and there 'had' been a toolbar that had installed itself, that Spybot Search & Destroy detected and removed. After this bogus email, I ran Spybot again and there weren't any hijackers or trojans infecting my pc.

Snow's almost gone, except in shady spots and places where it had piled up. :)

LOL! Your white dog would be invisible if it weren't for that wood fence!

My white dog is short-haired and wears a coat when I take him out for a walk when it's really cold. I can see long-haired dogs have enough thick fur to do fine in snow though.

Billie, that is a very prolific virus - I am surprised it didn’t infect your computer, as it did mine, and my daughter’s.

If ANYONE gets a pop up box (looking like it came from Windows), saying there is a threat (or thirteen) to your computer, and to click “here” to remove the threats - the only thing you can do to avoid it is to shut your computer down. Do not click the ‘x’ close box - or reply in any way.

It took my tech (geek boy) an hour to get rid of it - and he said that virus is what is keeping him busy these days.

(BTW - the young men that put this together are in prison - but the virus continues.............)

I wonder how they survive too! Are those cherries....they have so much ice on them I can’t tell. That looks so cold!!

I sure did enjoy those few days of sunshine here! The last 2 days have just been a little wet but not as bitter cold as it has been. Thank goodness! I sorta hope our snow season is over for this year. We’ve had more this year than we’ve had in a mighty long time.
