Thanks Conor and Sapphire is beautiful and doesn’t look like she has missed many meals. (something my hubby would have said)....I did venture out to post office and grocery store. After you get out of my neighborhood, the roads are just fine!
That looks a lot like my brother’s dog, Starla! That graphic is beautiful. I’ll be back after while, must put away the groceries...( just had to go out)! I looked on my calender and had appt. with dentist tomorrow at 1:30 and that is my hair appt. and I didn’t go last week and I need a haircut really bad, so I told the girl at the dentist ofc. about my dilemma and she changed the dental appt. until March. What a relief! Why is there always so much to do? They used to tell me i could slow down after the kids left home....LOL!

A clerk who helped me purchase a small digital voice recorder told me that he kept one just like it in his car when he worked in California. When I began driving home after work I switched it on, he said, and I talked about everything that happened that day on the job, good and bad. When I pulled into my driveway, I hit the erase button. Then he smiled. After telling everything to his voice recorder, he apparently had no need to go over the days problems with his wife or family.
It reminded me of how often I needlessly rehearse my disappointments and problems to others instead of telling them to God. The psalmist wrote: Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us (Ps. 62:8). Twice he spoke of waiting silently for God, his rock and salvation (vv.1-2,5-7).
While there is great comfort in sharing our difficulties with a friend, we miss the greatest help if we fail to bring them to the Lord. Joseph Scriven said it so well:
Bible in One Year: Leviticus 23-24; Mark 1:1-22
Beautiful words today, Mr. Mayor, and oh how I love that song.
Have a nice day today!
One of my favorites!

So very beautiful, jaycee..
We started off at 28 but it may hit 60 today.
The sun shines!
Thank you, Meg. I didn’t have any idea I would post more pictures with snow, but since it snows here everyday, might as well use the snow when I can!
Have hair appt. today and need my hair cut so bad. I didn’t get to go last week. I will call her and she will work with me on the time. Later, we are supposed to get above freezing so I hope this will leave quickly but as of this moment, driveway and my street is literally covered. So glad I went to post office and store yesterday.
Even though it doesn’t snow here often at all..I post snow pictures into March..Once it snowed here in April..LOL
Glad you got your errands run. Good luck on the haircut.
I am hooked on the Olympics again..Great day yesterday for the USA.
JC, what a stunning graphic! There is one snowflake that stays right on the eye of the jay and flashes. It lookes like he is alive - right here in my livingroom!
Beautiful!
Thanks yorkie. I went back and looked and you are right...it almost looks like his eye sparkling...how unusual that you noticed that!!
Very sweet opening this morning and I loved the poem. That pretty picture I received in an email this week and it is so sweet. Boy, did it look good all fancied up!!!
Mornin’ Amy.
It’s pouring down sunshine again today.
Had occasion to drive through the countryside yesterday and the almond orchards are in full bloom. Beekeepers have placed hives in several orchards I observed.
Also have several pretty yellow flower in bloom out in the front yard. I guess I better put some weed ‘n feed down to get rid of those dandilions. :)
Good morning, DD.
It’s pouring down fog here. :)
School buses were cancelled this morning. We take Marissa to school but we took her late. Classes were delayed for one hour. Marissa went to class an hour later. If she had stayed home, it would have been excused but I decided an hour late was better than no school. The fog is starting to lift but still not safe on these country roads.
The almond orchards here are starting to bloom but not in full bloom yet. Lots of bees around ... we don’t have hives but we get enough bees to pollinate our trees. :)
Wishing you a Terrific Thursday.
Thanks, Jaycee. Today’s sweet Opening is a rerun from July 17, 2008.
It is such a sweet graphic and the poem is great. I thought no one would mind a rerun. :)
What a great graphic and poem, especially for us that are getting up in years! Just loved it! Thank you!
Hi Jaycee, Snow? More snow? Are you possibly, by now getting tired of it? I always liked it till Christmas. Any time after, not so much! Be careful and safe if you venture out!!!
