I was just thinking about posting something about “Old Frothingslosh” but if I remember correctly, that was how it was pronounced.
But the spelling, as given in the commercials, was “Frothingslosh, that’s spelled F-a-e-n-s-h-a-w, frothingslosh”
It was brewed as a ‘special treat’ at a certain holiday time of the year by Iron City Brewery.
Yeah, that was one version of the church key, but anyone could get the top off the bottle.
Real men used their teeth but real macho men used their girl friend’s teeth.
But until the double ended church key with the punch on one end, not even your girl friend’s teeth could get you into one of those steel cans.
In college on my floor, we had a beer closet where we collected all the empties. We filled it up in about a month. It was full of what we could afford... Milwaukee Best, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Keystone. HEY! After the first 6 you don’t really care what you drink anyway.
BTW, most didn’t get rinsed out before storage... Filthy animals that we were.
ooooh, art!
Your ass sucks buttermilk (just kidding)
LOL!
My granny used to say it tasted better in glass. But then, my mom used to say it sounded better on vinyl.
Hell yeah..I even got one in my junk drawer...just in case.

Brew 102. When you couldn’t scratch up enough cash for some Coors.
GOD BLESS PAP SMEAR.
There is a bar in my town that sells glasses of Pabst Blue Ribbon for only $2. Does it taste good? No.
Is it cost effective? Damn yes it's cost effective.
Canned beer has been around for 75 years and they still can’t make it taste nearly as good as the bottled stuff. [Let alone draft beer.]
