Well how about that, Scott Brown won the Senate election in Massachusetts.
All you EEYORES who were negging the threads and naysaying any chance Scott had at winning can give it up to all the rest of us, the vast majority I daresay, who were actually finding something positive to do or to say about the situation.
Just sayin'.
Go ahead, rub it in. I was not one of the naysayers. I’m from Indiana and I sent Scott Brown $100. Woo hoo!
Ok, we have another RINO to chase around the corral....Yeah..
With all their corrupt ideas and tactics, it amazes me still that they didn't somehow try to drag this out forever.
I donated $35 but figured the Dems would find a way to win.
I never enjoyed being wrong more than last night...
Sanity in Massachusetts. Whodathunkit?
Scott Brown seems to be a moderate/conservative Republican, not a RINO. I put Dede Scuzzyflava in the category of RINO. Colin Powell too. Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe fall just short, if for no other reason that they’re staying with the GOP on this health care fiasco.
Brown won by more than the margin of fraud. I am a little tiny bit disappointed it looks like the Dems won't fight him being seated quickly or try to cram something through the Senate at the last minute. I was looking forward to a right wing riot on Capitol Hill those hijinks would ignite.
Great post! I was getting so sick of all the naysaying. Now lets call our Congressional reps AGAIN and remind them about how we feel about health care reform.
Haven't heard that name in a while. ROFL
That's yet to be seen, but I tend to agree with you. To go nuclear would incite a public backlash not seen in over 200yrs.
So, I ask the question.....are they REALLY that stupid to even try it?
You are an idiot.
I was somewhat of a naysayer, simply because I did not think he could overcome the Dem voter fraud.
I DID send some $$ to his campaign and I’m thrilled he won!
The dems HAVE GOT to be scratching their heads.
When you factor in the fraud (and you know there was plenty), he probably won more like 60-70%. THIS in a VERY BLUE state.
“EEYORES”
What the hell is that jibberish suposed to mean?
Good heavens, man. Did you not read any "Winnie the Pooh" as a child? Wikipedia provides a very concise summation of Eeeyore, one of the main characters of the books.
Eeyore (pronounced EE-yaw in British English; , EE-yawr in American English) is a character in the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A.A. Milne. He is generally characterized as a pessimistic, melancholic, depressed, old grey stuffed donkey who is a friend of the title character, Winnie-the-Pooh.
Never saw or heard of winnie the poo.
Quit wasting my time on comics when I was 6 in 1943.
Not comics. Books, by Milne. Very good ones too.
I read them to my little ones, (more for my enjoyment then theirs); and now they are reading them to their little ones.
Sounds like they are fiction which I have never read in my life and will never.
See here.
And.
That’s really sad that you didn’t know of Winnie-the-pooh when Milne released the book 11 years before you were born and Sleslinger bringing Pooh and his friends to life in the early 30’s in the US. So when you were growing up would have been during their first wave of popularity.
The second wave would have been in the 60’s when Disney took over. If you were in your late 20’s/early 30’s then, and had children, it is indeed sad again that you never encountered the 100 acre forest.
Either way, Winnie-the-Pooh and all the characters associated with him are indelibly etched on the minds of the overwhelming majority of Americans. It is part of our enjoined culture across racial, social and generational lines.
Sad that you don’t have that connection.
