I was so sure we were going to experience Déjà vu (à la franken and Minnesota) with numerous recounts until coakley was just one vote ahead so they could start shouting "We won! It's over!"

Brown won by more than the margin of fraud. I am a little tiny bit disappointed it looks like the Dems won't fight him being seated quickly or try to cram something through the Senate at the last minute. I was looking forward to a right wing riot on Capitol Hill those hijinks would ignite.

That's yet to be seen, but I tend to agree with you. To go nuclear would incite a public backlash not seen in over 200yrs.
