So-called Westminster Burying Ground is a fantastic churchyard. There is much more to it than just Poe. The site itself is fascinating (including “catacombs” under the church, complete with skeletal pieces out and about), with tombs alot like Europe where they are crowded 1 atop the other, and several important Revolutionaries buried there.
Anyone in that town want to pick up the slack?
It won’t be me. I make sure I vacate downtown before the sun goes down.

The sad thing is if more people hung out in places like this, less of the bad would happen. Scum don’t like to show their faces in too big a crowd.

One of those mysteries I’d love to know the answer to. A few years ago, a note was left saying “The torch is being passed”. Son, friend, nephew? Not only who the original was (perhaps there’s a society of them and it’s been more than one person?) but why he failed to show this year. Always thought it was kinda neat.
The guy decided to stop POE-king around graveyards.
In jail? Gone to Haiti? Gone to MA to campaign for Scott?
Here’s a second Poe story in one day for you. What are the chances ? :-P
Well apparently his campaigning worked then. Perhaps he’ll leave the bottle when he gets back from MA?
