I thought it was weird that Paige's mom talked about her singing in church and then she comes out in hot pants and sings Honky Tonk Woman.

On the other hand, Mama Sox was raised on a farm. White house, red barn, tractor in the field, mailbox on a red dirt road farm. Go figure.

I notice Mike didn’t sing the line “And my friend called, gonna come around at 12 with some Puerto Rican girls that’s jut DYING to meetchu, gonna drink a case of wine, you know mess around, fool around like we USED to...” :)

And why does Kara always have to have metal on all her tops this season???

Answer: she inherited Paula's wardrobe this season, and since she doesn't have the requisite "puppies," she chose to have the top parts filled in with aluminum foil in creative designs.

Seacrest walks down to the judges table and gets uncomfortably close to Cowell. Seacrest: I'm trying to help the guy out because I want him to stay on the show.

Wow, Ryan outmanned Cowell! Life is bad, Simon, when Ryan Seacrest is muy macho than you!

I liked Casey tonight. He got one of my 3 allowed votes. (We each get 3 in this house) But you are right; he needs to move around more.

Garcia has such a wonderful quality to his voice, but he is NOT comfortable on AI and has disappointed ever since Hollywood week. He will not last. He is a huge disappointment to me. (And to the 18th Streeters too.)

(Um, that was a joke, I have no idea what gang his family was from, LOL)

I love Wild Horses. She did OK this time — she was feeling the song. But she needed to not be in her prom dress.

I am competely shocked that Ellen or Kara did not say something about “Um, let me see, Bobby Sherman... You come on a show where you are hoping to get the female vote and you sing DELIGHTFULLY about keeping women down and under your control??”

My comment during the song was “I’d just break your little thumb right off, bud...”

And he did butcher it. Bye bye.

Siobhan was marvelous. Though I didn’t like the last note either. It was worse than the earthquake at 4 am.

25 years, whoa. I am very sorry. But it was NOT down the drain. At the very least, you learned a lot, and had beautiful children. Please don’t think of it as wasted time. I know how you feel, but it wasn’t.

I got a divorce after 9 years of marriage and it was very hard, hurt a lot, but it was the right decision. I hate divorce but sometimes it’s all you’ve got for an option.

John Mayer is a douche. That needs to be said whenever his name is mentioned. It's like a thread rule :)

Couldn't it be "John Mayer is a racist douche"?

Big Mike - was good tonight. He is a joy to watch because he is comfortable and fun.

DiDi - better than her usual AWFUL. Was surprised that she is supposedly so purposeful. She has come across very timid.

Casey - for the first time, I actually liked his singing. Was he nailed to his perch, though?

Lacy - agree with you, good song choice. She is a forced cute Cyndy-Lauper style. One always wonders what voice these people would have if awakened at 4 am for an earthquake. Maybe her roommate can tell us.

Andrew - disagree with you here. He pushed too much, he lost that beautiful tone in his voice, he has no confidence, he has a fantastic instrument and he doesn’t seem to know how to use it like he did on Paula’s song.

Katie - she is childish and phony but has an amazing voice

Tim or Bobby Sherman - I hope we are done with him. Crappy song choice (getting a woman under his control??) and he butchered it.

Siobhan - amazing song choice. You could almost feel her mourning her deceased lover. She was really there, and her delivery was excellent. My fave of the night.

Lee Agree with you about his diction. Worse was what he wanted to “make” - it sure wasn’t love. Sounded like he wanted her to make sweet “Uhhhhhhehhhchchc” to him. I like him but the judges were right — needs confidence

Paige - cringed for her to butcher it but she sounded great. would never have known she had laryngitis.

Aaron - Again I was cringing on the couch for him. But I believed his Angie! I could picture him and another young person in a hopeless, poverty-stricken romance. He felt it and so did I.

Wowzersox - liked her less than usual tonight, but she is something else. She is kind of already a star the way Adam was last season.

My favorites: Siobhan, Wowzersox (I agree with you, Lil’Freeper)

Going home should be Bobby Sherman.

Nowhere on the census form does it ask if you’re a CITIZEN...so just how do we apportion the House of Representatives..

Crystal has an attitude, f’sure..and she’s NOT smiling..you get the feeling that she can make it to the final two, then the day of the lat show, she annoliunces that she’s dropping out because she doesn’t want to compromise her artistic integrity..

Remember to write in “American” for “race” in your census form

I was thinking about answering that one with "human". Would the census police haul me away?

Seconded and passed. Also, it should be in glitter font when available.

My top three: 1.Siobhan ( I agree)
2.Casey ( I agree)
3.Crystal Yikes, no *she needs a shower

Bottom three: 1.Andrew no oh he needs another week ...make it PAIGE (she needs to go )
2.Lee no no no....put in LACEY! she's awful
3.Didi no :( I do like her, hope she gets a few more weeks - I think Katie should be here
I don't know why but I like Tim Urban - his Rolling Stone song was horrible but I think he's likeable and he's got that look the younger set would love

My take is Andrew is going home

Agreed. As weak as Tim is, the Ferlie Factor will keep him on for one more week at least.
