I want to go on record as saying this thread brings some much needed smiles and occasional gut busting laughter, in a world filled with all too much pain and suffering of late.....I thank you all for your smiles and love for sarcasm and irreverant humor ;-) LOL THis is far cheaper than therapy and far more fun!! This has to be the strangest hair season yet. The vocals haven’t lived up to the potential, but it could be nerves (I hope).
And I am with you in thanking everyone for their loving snark and honest opinions. This has been a truly fun thread segment.

His song is Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Going Down". Awesome. Once again he's playing guitar and we can HEAR it. For some of the other singers (male and female) the guitar has been a prop. And he's playing it very well. Perfect song choice for him.
Simon: I was looking forward to hearing you more than anyone else, but I was disappointed. Too serious, too indulgent. You're "Straight Up" was a risk. This was very intense. Fantastic recording voice. You've gotta do better.
Kara: I really like you and I hope we see you for many, many weeks.
Randy: The arrangement was really strange to me. But I'm a fan of you, right? Go back to being you.
Ellen: The Paula song is going to carry you for a little while. I'm thrilled you are on the show. You were kind of inside of yourself. But I think you're going to stick around.
I'm not familiar with the original song, so I have nothing to compare it too--but it sounded good to me.
