I want to like Didi, but she’s got to drop that I-ai-ai-ai thing.
She would buy him Rogain when he started losing his hair. Did I hear that?
Yeah I don’t care for her either. She’s a bit too...um...theatrical. She’s like a female Ace Young.
Another sound alike.
Didi: singing the opposite of Alicia Keys, the charming understatedness of Ingrid Michaelson. Kind of a safe choice. Acceptable, but not top three.
yes. you did.
simon is nailing this, dreary is right
>>Another sound alike.<<
Simon picked up on that right away.
I feel like I’m on a Valium watching this.
OH! She's THAT girl?? Didn't she have a weird wig, too?? Yeah, I didn't like her back then either.
Exactly! Perfect description!
Yeah, they are mostly listless and Simon was just commenting on that. There’s no genuine excitement or energy in their voices or personalities. Could be because they’re so nervous.
.......annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the first live sexual innuendo Simon lobs at Ryan.
I haven't watched Idol for a while,as my Dad passed away 3 weeks ago and I have been trying to help my Mom. Thought I would stop in and try to catch up a little,if possible.
I hate the ATT guy.
Didi: I think America has seen enough of my tears.
Yes.
Her song is "The Way I Am" by Ingrid Michaelson. Very good choice. But not very exciting.
Simon: I think you are a good singer. Too many people trying to sound like other people. A bit indulgent. Song was dreary. What I'm missing is a spark here. In the real world that was actually quite dull. But I like you.
Kara: Song is good. You at least made some changes to the original recording. Showing another level
Randy: Where is the star factor? No outward ooomph. So sleepy for me.
Ellen: The song for the first night for millions of people to vote for you--that first impression was a bit low key.
Hi Jonny. Got in late tonight. Trying to catch up on the DVR now! :)
They better not mess up Chris Isaak or I am going to be angry kitty. I looooooooooove him!
So sorry for your loss.
