I watched the video this morning and it was obvious they wanted this to happen and did it on purpose. The video was taken from the Japanese ship, it was clear they put the bow of their boat directly in front of the whaling ship.
Their first claim was their engine died and the Japanese ship ran them down, but the instant the boat was hit they threw it in reverse and backed up. I hate to say it but I could care less if the crew pulled through or not.
Activists described the attack as unprovoked and said it was captured on film.
