The AP story tries to play this as a knock against McCain.

This hat looks just like the one Sarah is wearing, except Sarah’s looks suede and these dont look like that. So want to get confirmation before purchasing this particular hat, Either way it looks awesome

Similar, but Sarah's does not have the horizontal seam but looks like felt(?) finish (name escapes me).

Hey, Sarah used the joke I wrote for the DUmmie FUnnies here on FR! DUFU reader Libloather went to the Palin book signing at Roanoke and passed it along to her, and she laughed and said she would use it! And now she has!
Another Poster had hit abuse and the third version of the thread was pulled. Then one of the volunteer Admin Moderators happened to notice a polite comment on the thread written by RonDog and the duplicate thread was locked to the first thread.
Just so you all are aware, when a thread is pulled, as in the case of the thread posted three times, it is usually at the request of a Poster, and often the original Poster, and always via the abuse button.
Here are some easy to remember ways to assure that your thread will not be pulled:
1. Before posting, check to see if the published article is not in violation of Free Republic's copyright restrictions;
Updated FR Excerpt and Link Only or Deny Posting List due to Copyright Complaints
2. Always use the published title only; and
3. Always search before posting.
