Obama, a Science Buff, Is Washington's Mr. Spock (Did I read this right?)
Fox News ^ | 12-01-09

He shows a fascination with science, an all-too deliberate decision-making demeanor, an adherence to logic and some pretty, ahem, prominent ears.

They all add up to a quite logical conclusion, at least for "Star Trek" fans: Barack Obama is Washington's Mr. Spock, the chief science officer for the ship of state.

"I guess it's somewhat unusual for a politician to be so precise, logical, in his thought process," actor Leonard Nimoy, who has portrayed Spock for more than 40 years, told The Associated Press in an e-mail interview. "The comparison to Spock is, in my opinion, a compliment to him and to the character."

I don’t get the comparison really. The bigZero is like Spock because Spock is Half Human and bigZero is Half White? They are both half-n-halfs? Being compared to Spock is a compliament but in this case its undeserved. Spock didn’t try to wreck the Federation.

"I guess it's somewhat unusual for a politician to be so precise, logical, in his thought process."

What thought process? Not a word comes out of his mouth that isn't written by a staffer and fed to him via TOTUS.

Of course, Obama could release his colege transcripts and prove me wrong.

This is actually an AP story, written by Seth Borenstein, who we’ve already identified as sycophant # 1.

LOL - you forgot to mention that Hillary's the smartest woman in the world.

Or that John Kennedy was likened to a KING - ruler of Camalot. Odd how Republicans are never fawned over by the press... could it be bias?

I’d love for someone to explain the logic of spending $3,500,000,000,000 that you don’t have in 10 months with the promise of spending trillions more! The fourth estate is trying to prop this empty suit up but they seem to be hitting new depths on a daily basis.

3) He’s been to 57 states, 2 not allowed, 1 left to go = 60 states

4) Read somebody else’s speech thanking HIMSELF etc., etc., etc.

And they keep trying to prop him up telling us he’s “brilliant” ... good grief

If Sarah Palin had done any of the things on your list, the press would still be joking about how stupid she was... With Obama, they have the "he really didn't mean it" pass ready and waiting for him.

Predictable article: Obama Smart, he like science. Bush Dumb, he not believe global warming.

How can anyone with even the most basic understanding of physics believe in global warming?

How could somebody who regularly flies in an airplane, and sees how vast this planet is, think we could have any impact on the climate of the earth?

And He’s the smart one?

I’d say he’s more like the Borg Queen...cold, evil, and assimilating everything in sight.

I would say he’s more like Nimoy than Spock. They both have HUGE egos, think themselves experts on everything, and look condescendingly down on the rest of us.

Spock at least acknowledged his human half.

When has Obama ever acknowledged his white half?
