We have a deal since we each have our ‘specialities’ we are better at - hers is decorating the tree, and mine is decorating the house. I do the tables, chests, piano tops, fireplace mantles, chandeliers, dining chair swags, garlands, etc while she does the tree. I always get mine out and set it up and fluff it, but that’s where I quit - the rest is ‘her job’ because she’s the pro and it shows. :)
Thanks, Jaycee.
I spent some time working on new graphics yesterday. Then I wonder why I don’t have time to vacuum! LOL
Hope you feel better after resting for awhile. See you when you feel much better.
Hugs.
I look out my window,
a new day I see,
and only I can determine
what kind of a day it will be.
watch as this picture changes
It can be busy and sunny,
laughing and gay,
or boring and cold,
unhappy and grey.
My own state of mind
is the determining key,
for I am only the person
I let myself be.
I can be thoughtful,
and do what I can to help,
or I can be selfish
and think just of myself.
I can enjoy what I do
and make it seem fun,
or gripe and complain
and make it hard on someone.
I can be patient with those
who may not understand,
or belittle and hurt them
as much as I can.
But I have faith in myself,
and believe what I say,
and I personally intend
to make the best of Today.

Thanks so much, jaycee. I don’t think she can sing a bad song either. We’ll treat you to more soon. :)
Did you listen to the one Amy posted to open this month's thread? It's my favorite on the album, and I probably won't be deleting that song from my server for a very, very long time.
I read that Chachi has been sick again. :( Poor little tyke - hope he's getting better every day.
Those are pretty little tea and coffee pots! With this cold weather, I’ve been enjoying something hot to drink in the afternoons this week. Either hot cider (at home) or a latte from Starbucks.
Good job remembering to go back for those two posts - I'm glad to know that I'm working off my probation. Neener neener, Lori! LOL
:) There will be more, too. :)
I've never been in a pinch for canned frosting before, but one can never tell. :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you - and stay tuned for more Ms Boyle.
I hope her album continues to sell, sell, sell. :)
All your new graphics have not gone unnoticed, Amy! Isn't it WAY more fun to play in PSP than to vacuum. YUK! :)
And thanks also for all the time you put in to make sure that Amy's Place one of the prettiest and nicest places to visit. I do think you know how much all of us appreciate the care you take to make every one here feel the warm hospitality that is Amy's Place.
Just feel like sayin' that every once in a while. :)
We haven't had snow, but the temperature has been freezing, and below, with very little moisture and enough wind to 'hurt' your face when you go out for long. It takes a while for me to get ready to take the dogs for a walk! Being inside dogs with short hair, they have to wear coats, and for me: leg warmers over my jeans, warm gloves, my husband's parka (because it goes to my knees and has a warm hood) - nothing but my face is exposed! I'd wear a ski mask but I hate them and besides it would scare my dogs! LOL
Sweet! This somehow reminds me of Marissa when we all first ‘met’ her!
You are right, Billie! It DOES look like Marissa!!
LOL
I would much prefer playing in PSP than doing any housework. But darn it; sometimes laundry and vacuuming must be done.
Ahhh ..... that is a sweet poem and an adorable graphic. Thanks, Yorkie.
Thank you so much, Billie.
Amy’s Place is special because of all the friends who visit here. The nicest Freepers come to Amy’s Place.
*smile*
It does remind me of Marissa.
No wonder she is such a sweetie. LOL
I just LOVE this!! The picture is so sweet!
The poem reminds me of the song “ In My Own Little Corner”...from Cinderella! I just love that song.

Thank you Amy, I am on the road to Tennessee for 10 days.
