Hey! Glad you liked my Aunt’s saying. She has so many good stories. That was one of the things I had to write down so I wouldn’t forget it.

One time she had a very odd job. She had just quit a job as a church secretary and my uncle stopped at a gas station and saw they were hiring and offered her as an employee. He went home and told her and she was less than thrilled, but she decided why not, and said she would be “pumping gas for The Lord”. LOL.

Then at that job, the man in charge was a bit of a jerk and would sometimes pass her too closely in the halls. She finally had enough one day and said “If you ever do that again, I’m gonna part your hair with a crescent wrench!”. That put an end to his antics.

Many of you will remember I asked for prayers for my Aunt Mickey this past year. She has finally, on Dec.21, gotten to see an endocrinologist for her thyroid problem. It took 4-5 months to get that appointment. She had an inflamed occipital nerve this year too that caused many problems. That has corrected itself. The thyroid thing is finally getting attention. She is doing really good now and will be even better after the thyroid is regulated.

Conor, I heard on the news where 8 of our Military were killed in Afghanistan in one place today. I don't have any details. But it breaks our hearts. And I suppose there will be many more.
