Thank you, Megs and amen! It always makes me cry when I preview it to post.
God bless our brave troops!
Scheduled to have all my remaining teeth pulled Jan 13.
I confess, it has me a bit . . . concerned. Not per se the procedure, though it requires an oral surgeon given my long roots and brittle teeth . . . It could be quite an ordeal but the surgeon is a great guy and I’ve typically done OK with even drawn out agonizing such surgeries.
More, it’s having foreign things forevermore in my mouth. It’s a silly rabbit mentality. I know. And, my teeth infections have gone on far too many months and degraded the rest of my immune system. Not good. I’ve been a silly rabbit about it too long.
Somehow, it’s just sad. Not sure all the why’s.
Thanks for being here, Amy. You’re a bright spot on the planet and on FR.
Thanks, Yorkie,
How’d your dental visit turn out?
Hope you and housemate are doing well.
The best of CHRISTmas to you both.
Hey—y’all might be interested if you have a VitaMix.
Sam’s have some almonds dry coated in chocolate dust sort of coating.
VitaMix will make almond butter out of them if you do it right and carefully without overloading things in one swoop. I added some chocolate chips, also from Sam’s. Great on Hagen Daz vanilla. LOL.

GOD’S BEST to you & yours this CHRISTmas and New Year.
They starved and re-introuduced food yesterday, he has a rather rich evening meal and I think the problems have re-surfaced this morning. I will be going up the hospital in a couple of hours for the day.
Love to all

Oh Quix!!! I am so sorry. My beloved younger sister has been going through the dental work as you describe over the past few months.
Prayers for you...
Polly
It was anything but an idyllic, silent night on that cool Bethlehem evening when a scared teenager gave birth to the King of kings. Mary endured the pain of her babys arrival without the aid of anything more than the carpentry-roughened hands of Joseph, her betrothed. Shepherds may have been serenaded in nearby fields by angels singing praises to the Baby, but all Mary and Joseph heard were the sounds of animals, birth agony, and the first cries of God in baby form. A high-magnitude star shone in the night sky above the outbuilding, but the manger scene was a dreary place for these two out-of-town visitors.
As Joseph laid the infant in Marys arms, a combination of wonder, pain, fear, and joy must have coursed through her heart. She knew, because of an angels promise, that this tiny bundle was the Son of the Highest (Luke 1:32). As she peered through the semidarkness into His eyes and then into Josephs, she must have wondered how she was going to mother this One whose kingdom would never end.
Mary had much to ponder in her heart on that special night. Now, over 2,000 years later, each of us needs to consider the importance of Jesus birth and His subsequent death, resurrection, and promise to return.
Thx tons for your kind reply,
for your kind thoughts
and greatly for your kind prayers.
Prayers for your sister.
I must focus on the improved smile. My fractured, broken and missing teeth probably leave some students less than . . . blessed. LOL.
And the pulling is supposed to be on the 13th. Classes begin on the 12th for me. Wheeee. with another 2 class sessions the 14th . . . then 4 days to recover. Could be interesting.
I just pray he doesn’t have to wrestle with lots of roots wrapped around the bone. Sigh.
Much appreciate your prayers and caring.
Thx Big.
What a beautiful tree, so perfect like you Kitty Mittens! May you have a Blessed, Christ-Centered, Merry Christmas!
Great song, it’s got Daisy wagging her tail. :)
AMEN!
