Scheduled to have all my remaining teeth pulled Jan 13.
I confess, it has me a bit . . . concerned. Not per se the procedure, though it requires an oral surgeon given my long roots and brittle teeth . . . It could be quite an ordeal but the surgeon is a great guy and I’ve typically done OK with even drawn out agonizing such surgeries.
More, it’s having foreign things forevermore in my mouth. It’s a silly rabbit mentality. I know. And, my teeth infections have gone on far too many months and degraded the rest of my immune system. Not good. I’ve been a silly rabbit about it too long.
Somehow, it’s just sad. Not sure all the why’s.
Thanks for being here, Amy. You’re a bright spot on the planet and on FR.
Oh Quix!!! I am so sorry. My beloved younger sister has been going through the dental work as you describe over the past few months.
Prayers for you...
Polly
I will keep you in my prayers, Quix.
I’m sure it will be a relief when it is finally over and you can face the new year with a bright new smile.
Quix, bless your heart! You have been such a prayer warrior for so many of us. I will be praying for you, before, during and after your proceedure.
I had my teeth done (porcelain) on the 18th, and for the first time in years, I can smile without embarassement.
I have many friends who have had their teeth all pulled and are very pleased with the results. Your body will thank you for it, (including your heart and immune system.)
Blessings, my friend. May you heal quickly and totally!
I do not like the dentist either, Quix! I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers that it will be over quickly and you will find much relief! Good Luck!
