Satan can appear as an angel of light. If someone depends on some revelation that doesn't line up with Scripture, as much of Smith's teaching don't, then I seriously doubt that the *personages* were from God.
So, what doctrines and creeds of men are taught by someone who goes back to the Bible for their source of truth?
Traditions and creeds of men are religious formalities established in religious denominations. Following Biblical teachings is not traditions or doctrines of men.

There is nothing we can do to win salvation...Jesus did it all for us and said “IT IS FINISHED” when He shed His life giving blood and died on the cross...because it was finished...there was nothing else needed to be done..
Thats why the cross is so precious to Christians...it is the place where Jesus won our redemption, our forgiveness, our salvation, he took all of the sins of the world on Himself, God the Father could not look at Him..He took our punishment for sin, our death penalty on Himself...He died in our place...There is nobody like Jesus...only Jesus saves...Jesus is the door to Heaven, to God the Father..to eternal life..

The pi=3 argument is hardly “lame”. It is inarguable (successfully, anyway), and it is but the simplest example to present.
Nothing. I requested links to provide evidence that there are people who demand that the whole Bible be read completely literally with no regard to literary style, not recognizing poetry, song, parable, etc and you have not produced.

You know, it's inconsistent for you to complain about Christians showing lack of love when they point out inconsistencies between Mormon teachings and the Bible and then turn around and accuse someone of being demon possessed.
Perhaps you should reconsider such strong statements.
Suppose I came along and told a Mormon "You are full of demmons what more can I say!". What do you suppose the response would be by the Mormons? Shall I try it some time?
Since you pinged me, Romney as a mormon is secondary to the established facts from his time as Massachusetts gov - he is pro abortion, pro gay, pro big government, and not ashamed to flip flop around and obfuscate his ‘positions’ as the need requires. That said, the thread is in the religion forum and I suggest you talk to JR about his views on romney on the main index.
